Animosity towards the truth of Shinchonji

If you heard that the movie you had been waiting for had just been released at the cinema, you would probably make it a priority to go and book your tickets to watch it as soon as possible…

What about if you heard that your best friend was about to return, wouldn’t you ask him or her about flight details and travel agendas? And wouldn’t you take meticulous notes and memorize the facts related to the arrival?

Yet, why is it that when there is a clear testimony about the fulfillment of Revelation, Christians are the first to cry “cult” and the slowest to react? It is almost as if people do not want Revelation to be fulfilled, or like they do not want Jesus to return unless it’s on their own terms, at the time they view as realistic. This is not the correct attitude to have towards God’s word. Who are we to place our narrow-minded, human thoughts on God’s master plan?

The fact that there are so many options to believe in regarding the second coming clearly shows us how misguided we are. Jesus will only be returning once, and he will come in the order and manner God prophesied in the Bible. There is only one word, one God, one prophecy and one plan… Why do we, therefore, have so many options? Shinchonji’s teachings are clear and in perfect accordance with the Bible. Before one can judge one needs to have studied everything, verified the studies by testing the scriptures and combined knowledge with the faith that the Bible asks of us.  We study and test the words we hear against scripture so that we will not be misguided by the numerous options available to Christians today. It’s these multiple interpretations that leave Christians ignorant about Jesus’ return, and because of how Christians have turned God’s word into whatever is suitable and comforting to them that there is so much animosity toward the explanation of the prophecies, and the one who is testifying them. Wouldn’t it be much better to have a heart that is so eager for the return of Jesus, our Messiah? It would be more pleasing to Jesus for us to be those who are eager for the invitation to the wedding banquet of the Lamb, which happens at his return (Mt 22:1-5).

If you think you are prepared for the second coming, ask yourself these questions. Can you list seven prophecies about events that are supposed to happen prior to Jesus’ return? Can you list them in the order they will be fulfilled according to scriptures? Can you say with assured-ness as to which prophecies have already happened and are yet to happen? Wouldn’t it be nice to know? Wouldn’t it be important to know, so that we can obey Jesus’ command to be “always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Lk 21:36).

The lackadaisical attitude about Jesus’ return is something Jesus even warned us about (Luke 18:8). God wished for people to recognize Jesus at the first coming, and Jesus wishes for us to recognize his promised pastor today! It is urgent, and it is more important than everything else to understand the times in which we are living. Being fooled into a relaxed attitude towards the second coming is the work of the maddening wine of adulteries in Revelation 18:1-3. “Drunkenness, on this wine has dulled the senses of believers. It is only the work of Satan that does not want people to be saved. Instead he knows as long as he can keep everyone fooled they will struggle to accept truth and be blinded by all the comforting options he created as “alternatives” – which are really opposing  God’s truth.  Satan will kill, steal, and destroy the spirits of believers (Jn 10:10). This is the work of deception and every kind of evil that deceives others because they refused to love the truth and so be saved (2 Thes 2:9-10).

Did you know that a large percentage of Shinchonji members were introduced to Shinchonji by their own family members who wanted them to hear this word of life? Another large percentage was introduced by close friends.  What does that prove? We want the people we love to hear the truth, as the word of God is explained. Clear as crystal.

If you have been asked by a friend or family member to do the studies with Shinchonji, why not try at least a few studies, before turning your back on it? Have faith that God’s truth and light will guide you… pray for him to lead you. It is not everyday that someone claims to have received the complete explanation of Revelation. If you don’t have the complete understanding of Revelation, which is about the coming of our Lord Jesus, and if you are hearing about someone who does, then wouldn’t it be the rational thing to do to make effort to at least listen and check it out? Perhaps you even want o make a list of logical question that the Bible tells us someone who has received the explanation should be able to answer. Ask anyone you see as fit to answer and then ask someone in Shinchonji. Compare the answers and the sources of those answers. Mr. Man Hee Lee has asked repeatedly for people to listen and judge his words as true or false. Whether people listen or fail to listen is up to the condition of their spirit, and for each person to decide on their own. But he has asked on numerous occasions for those who disagree to have an open and public discussion with him about why they oppose his testimony… never once has anyone taken up his offer.

We are not encouraged to believe blindly, but we are commanded by 1 John 4:1 to test if the words a person speaks is explaining according to the word or not. The burden of proof is upon Shinchonji, and if you would like to take this challenge, then try contacting Shinchonji via this website, and set up a time to have a conversation with someone from Shinchonji.  Just like one Shinchonji member said to his family, “It is worth the effort to understand the word and receive life.”

Shinchonji’s path of Righteousness – Some Questions for you:

Proverbs 4:18-19 & Isa 8:16-22

Ever thought about how easy it is to get lost when you don’t consult a map.   So, to help us all on our journey back to God’s kingdom, God thought he would make us a map.  We can use it to find righteousness.  It will come in handy especially if we ever find ourselves doubting what we believe.  The catch is that he leaves it up to us to read, it’ up to us to actually consult it, and to make sure we aren’t reading it upside-down or from our own inaccurate perspectives. Now,  since there is one who has been sent to proclaim the truth, one sent by Jesus Christ and God and one who has seen all things from a heavenly perspective, he can explain this map to us according to the word that Jesus revealed to him.All those seeking, should have the spiritual ears to hear and the spiritual eyes to see that we are incredibly blessed to be alive at this time. All nations should take the opportunity to listen to the explanation from “another counsellor”, a counsellor to come after Jesus, but in Jesus’ name… the same way Jesus came in God’s name. This revealed word is being testified from Shinchonji, Church of Jesus, and it is the truth that guarantees we read our map the right way up, understanding all the  road signs and warning signals along the way and following it right to the sea of glass, before God’s throne.

Here’s a hint to get us started on our journey:  often, when prophets in the Old Testament referred to themselves in the context of their own prophecies, they were not referring to themselves.  A certain Ethiopian eunuch asked Philip questions about this in Acts 8:26-38.

The prophet Ezekiel provides a wonderful example of this.  In his visions he saw many things.  In one of his earliest visions he records seeing a hand with a scroll in it stretched out before him.  The scroll is unrolled before him and he is given the instruction to eat the scroll.   After eating the scroll he is sent, by God, to testify the contents of that scroll to the rebellious house of  Israel (Ez 2:9-3:6).

This is interesting because the scroll that was closed at first was only consumable after it was opened.  Before ‘Ezekiel’ eats scroll and delivers its contents to the people of Israel they do not know what the words are.  Thus, in his vision, Ezekiel is appointed God’s messenger to the rebellious people of Israel.

Later on in scripture, this role is revealed to be a prophetic one.  At the time of its fulfilment, it was Jesus who carried out the actions which God had prophetically revealed to Ezekiel.  Col 2:2-3 and Mt 15:24, among others, help us to understand this better.  Perhaps we will write a more extensive explanation of this later, but in the same was that Jesus was given the full revelation of all the old testament prophecies by God, Chairman Man Hee Lee has been given the revelation of all the new testament prophecies by Jesus. At the time of the first coming Jesus came to perfect God’s promises (the Law) by completing them – all the things that were prophesied in the Old Testament were concerning Jesus and fulfilled at Jesus’ first coming (John 5:39), and this was how he completed the prophecies and made them perfect (Matthew 5:17). In the same way our promised pastor today, comes to fulfil all of Jesus’ promises made in the New Testament, he has witnessed the fulfilment of all these prophecies because Jesus opened up the sealed scroll and gave it to him to eat, and then go and testify to all nations, peoples and kings (Revelation 5, Revelation 10).

For now, see if you can answer these:
1.Who is the I character mentioned in Isa 8:16-22?
2.How does this I character relate to the light of the sun (“light of day” or “light of noon“) and in what sense did the lamp precede it?
3.Why is Isa 8:20 the connection between the dim light of a lamp, that shines in a dark place (2 Pt 1:18-19) and the light of dawn?
4.How can one identify the light of dawn (Isa 8:20)?
5.What allows the gleaming light of dawn to grow to the full light of the noonday sun (Prv 4:18-19)?

Of course, the most intriguing question is how does this apply to us?

Feel free to post any answers to these below, if you would like.
