[Shincheonji God's Word] The church teaches the way to the God of Heaven

Religions like Christianity, Buddhism, and Confucianism are similar in that they all attempt to teach the path to heaven. The way to heaven, however, is known only to the one who has been to and come back from heaven. Since the way to heaven is not the way of the world, it is not something that just anyone can know or teach. God sends a messenger in every generation to work on his behalf. A spirit is sent from heaven to earth to teach and lead God’s messenger. Since heaven is where God and God’s kingdom are, believers with their hopes set on heaven must find it no matter where it might be. Can a pastor who has never been to heaven lead anyone else there?
Jesus came from heaven, returned there, and he will come from heaven once again (Jn 3:34; Jn 14:1-3). When and where will he appear? If he appears today, will anyone be able to see him and believe in him? Speaking from one’s own wisdom, knowledge, judgment, and thoughts is like spitting in the ocean to try and raise the tide. Physical thoughts and knowledge are different from spiritual thoughts and knowledge. Until the revelation (Matt 11:27), mentioned in the OT (Isa 29:9-14; Hab 2:2-3; Eze 1; Eze 2; Eze 3), came, all the religious leaders of the time taught only the teachings of men. This is why no one could understand Jesus’ revelation (Matt 22:29).
Similarly, from the time of the first coming to now, when the revelation of the NT has come (Rev 5; Rev 6; Rev 8; Rev 10), all pastors have been preaching only the teachings of men. Today, every pastor has his own interpretation of Revelation that springs from his own mind. This proves that men’s teachings have been taught until today. Anyone who believes in the true faith, the true heaven, and true eternal life must acknowledge the Bible and its fulfillment. They must accept the true revelation that Shincheonji is testifying. Instead of slandering us and calling us a devil-worshiping demon-possessed cult, in the same way the prophets and apostles of the past were persecuted, all believers should truly repent of their biblical ignorance and other wrongdoings. Blaming and persecuting others without knowing the Bible’s true meaning will not take you to heaven or grant you eternal life. You cannot make your thoughts and opinions true just because you want them to be true. Even pastors and theologians must learn the things they do not know to be saved.
The Bible is the standard of our faith. Since Shincheonji alone teaches the word of revelation, even if people want to repent and base their faith on the Bible, their efforts are futile unless they go through Shincheonji. If Shincheonji approached people today the way Jesus did at the first coming, this generation would be in an uproar. Do you remember what Jesus said at the first coming? If you believe what he said, then you will find what Shincheonji says faultless. Persecuting someone or some group as a cult without any biblical basis reveals a deep spiritual problem only in the person who is doing the persecuting. Shincheonji is doing its best to proclaim the truth of the prophecies of the Bible and their fulfillment. Those who receive the word of revelation and the testimony, keep it, and reach salvation are truly blessed (Rev 1:1-3).

[shincheonji God's Word] Let us distinguish the truth from the lies using the Bible

Let us distinguish the truth from the lies using the Bible

Although people are sinners and have been continually hostile toward God, he loved us sinners so much that he gave us his son (Jn 3:16). The son of God bore the cross on our behalf (Jn 1:29) and now he lives within us (Gal 2:20). Jesus taught us to love our enemies (Mt 5:44) and to forgive others their sins (Mt 6:14-15). People who believe these words of Jesus and put them into practice are true believers. Those who refuse to act upon Jesus’ words are not believers at all. Anyone who strays from Jesus’ teachings is acting according to his or her own personal thoughts, opinions, and judgments.
The contents of the 66 books of the Bible can be divided into history, teaching, prophecy, and fulfillment.
Biblical history can be divided into several time periods that lead up to today. The period of the judges followed the time of Adam, Noah, Moses (Exodus), and Joshua (the entry into the land of Canaan). The period of the judges was followed by the period of the kings and prophets, the period of the gospel of heaven, during which the Old Testament was fulfilled, and the period of the epistles written by Jesus’ apostles. Now is the time the New Testament is being fulfilled – the period of Revelation. Now is the time of judgment when the good grain is separated from the weeds. Those who believe the word are separated from those who do not believe it (Mt 13:24-30, 36-43, Mt 25).
It is not by human standards that groups of people are judged as being orthodox or heretical (cult members). The only standard that should distinguish orthodoxy from heresy is the Bible. Present-day churches are not orthodox; they are merely holding onto their traditions. The Jewish people (the Pharisees and teachers of the law) stigmatized Jesus as a cult leader and ended up killing him (1Th 2:15; Mt 23:29-35). Was Jesus, who preached the revealed word of God (Jn 14:10, 24), a true cult leader? The Jewish people judged Jesus and killed him using their own standards and opinions, which deviated from the Bible (Ac 7:51-54; Mt 27). Pontius Pilate, on the other, realized that Jesus was innocent (Mt 27:24).
Although Shinchonji (SCJ) proclaims only the revealed word of God, a certain person has been calling SCJ a cult. At one point I gave that person 40 questions about the Bible and asked him to answer them and explain. Now, although it has been a few years, I have not received any response. Yet, he is still claiming that SCJ is a cult. Just as Jesus, his disciples, and the prophets of old were denounced as heretics, SCJ is also being denounced as a cult. The New Testament indicates that, at the end of the age, all churches will belong to demons, and the pastors and congregation members of those churches will not even realize that they have united with Satan (Rev 17, 18, and Rev 13). In the midst of such a situation, only believers that are sealed with the word and that belong to the promised twelve tribes of the New Testament will become God’s kingdom and priests (Rev 7, Rev 14). Let us speak of what is written in the Bible and answer only according to the Bible. Have those who persecuted SCJ ever willingly accepted our demand for a serious conversation?

I, as chairman of Shincheonji, Church of Jesus, do not even own one square meter of property, and neither does my wife or my son. Why would God’s children, who will eventually receive God’s inheritance, be greedy about such trivial possessions? I would never do anything to jeopardize God’s greater reward. I only act according to the word of God. I teach people about justice and fairness, but I also put these principles into practice. How can someone like this be a cult leader? People who do not stand God’s word – people who tell lies and persecute others – they are the real cult leaders. What does the Bible say about those who will receive salvation in this generation? Those who escape the group of the persecutors to join the group that is being persecuted are the ones who flee from Satan and receive salvation. Let us not forsake the truth.

[Shinchonji God's Word] God and the Chosen Pastor

The text:  Jn 16:8-15

In every generation, there was a pastor who was chosen by God. In the New Testament, who, when, and where is the promised pastor?

God chose Moses and through him He fulfilled what was promised to Abraham. What God fulfilled through Moses, was previously spoken to His people, the Israelites, before it was fulfilled. Furthermore, Jesus was chosen (Lk 9:35) to fulfill the prophecies and testify what was previously spoken through the Old Testament prophets.

The prophecies of the New Testament were prophesied through Jesus and His disciples. At the time of the second coming, one pastor (the one who overcomes) is chosen, shown the events of the fulfillment and told to testify what was seen and heard to the world.

In each of the different generations, there are pastors of prophecy who speak of the future, but there is also a pastor who testifies to what was seen and heard. The second of these two is the promised pastor, whom God has chosen.

Prophecies are told in advance, so that the fulfillment can be believed in at the time they are seen and fulfilled (Jn 14:29). The prophecies of the New Testament (gospel of the kingdom of heaven) that will be fulfilled, is made known to the whole world as a testimony to all nations (Mt 24:14). When the gospel of the kingdom of heaven is spread to all nations, then the end will come, the Lord will return and fulfill the promised prophecies (Mt 24:29-31).

At this time, the Lord chooses the witness who saw and heard the events of fulfillment, from the location in which they were fulfilled. He is then commanded to make this information known to the churches. The congregation members, who have heard the testimony concerning the fulfilled prophecies, must examine whether the prophecies were fulfilled according to the promises of the scriptures. They must then believe in this reality, and become those who testify about them together.

All believers today have the Bible, and within the content of the scriptures, history, moral instructions (teachings), prophecies and fulfillment are recorded. The people, who live at the time of the New Testament, believe that the New Testament prophecies will be fulfilled in the future. They all gather their hands in prayer, waiting for that day. Since God has always fulfilled His promises, (Is 14:24, Hab 2:2-3), one can certainly believe God will also fulfill the New Testament promises.

However, there is no one who knows regarding when, or where this fulfillment will occur. Nor do they know who will see these events of fulfillment, and testify to them. Not only this, but the meaning of the New Testament, which was recorded in parables, is even harder to understand (Mt 13:34-35, Jn 16:25). Also, no one actually knows how big these events truly are.

The purpose of God’s 6,000 years of biblical history is recorded in the New Testament. It is recorded that a new world will be created (Rv 7, 14, 21, 22). When the New Testament is fulfilled, God’s new kingdom is created, and we become the people of heaven in this new kingdom. By receiving salvation, we are receiving the greatest and highest blessings given in 6,000 years. We must ask ourselves, since we will be dwelling with God and receive heaven and eternal life, is there a bigger blessing than this out there?

However, it is recorded in scriptures regarding this era, ‘will there be any faith on this earth’ (Lk 18:8). As a result of betrayal and destruction, which has taken over this world, there will be an increase in wickedness (Mt 24). At a time like this, there must be one who fights and win these lawless men for there to be salvation, and for the promised kingdom of God to stand (Rv 12:10-11). Let us believe in this truth and be those who inherit salvation.

We must find the promised pastor spoken of in the Bible and become the people of heaven. The promised kingdom, New Heaven and New Earth “Shinchonji”, is the promised kingdom in the New Testament, and is fulfilled today, according to the promises of the Bible. Those who believe in this are those born of God’s seed. Those who do not believe and persecute this are those born of Satan’s seed.

Shinchonji people are of heaven, they have been harvested and sealed according to the promises in the Bible. They are reborn as new creations. Not believing in this truth is evidence of being born of Satan’s seed. Just because someone is a pastor, it does not make him or her God’s pastor. And just because someone calls himself or herself a believer, it does not automatically make them people of God. We must ask, if one considers themselves a person of God, is there any reason to refuse being harvested and sealed?

The firstfruits harvested in Revelation 14, are the fruits from the seed (gospel of the kingdom) Jesus planted 2,000 years ago. This was done in accordance to the fulfillment of prophecies (Mt 13:24-30). The seed Jesus planted at the first coming, is the fulfillment of the prophecies given in Jeremiah 31:27, and the two seeds Jesus and the devil sowed were planted together in Jesus’ field (churches).

At the time of harvest, it is only the ripened wheat, from the good seed planted by Jesus, who are harvested and taken in front of the throne where God dwells. The ripened fruit born of the good seed are the sons of heaven. Those not harvested at the time of harvest, but are left remaining in the field (churches), are the sons of the evil one born of Satan’s seed (Mt 13:37-40). The actions of all those refusing to believe the fulfillment of God’s promises, testify they are not born of God’s seed.

We at Shinchonji overcame (we overcame Satan and the world with Truth and the word of testimony), have been harvested, sealed, and have created God’s kingdom the 12 tribes. Additionally, Shinchonji is where heaven and the earth became one (Mt 6:10, Rv21), the place of salvation for the entire world. Those who believe in the New Testament will come to Shinchonji. This is the place recorded in the Scriptures; this is the place of the fulfillment of God’s will. Amen!

[Shinchonji God's Word] Persecutors who curse others and the savior who blesses

The New Testament prophesied about the appearance of both persecutors and the savior. Just as the first coming fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies (Jn 19:30), these two groups will act according to the New Testament prophecies when the time of fulfillment comes. How, then, can we distinguish the persecutors from the savior? The Bible says in Matt 7:15-20 that we will be able to recognize them by their fruit (actions).
Why do persecutors persecute and slander others (Matt 5:10-12; Matt 7:1-5)? According to 2 Thes 2:9-10, people who have evil spirits inside them come displaying all kinds of counterfeit signs and miracles in accordance with the work of Satan. The one with the God’s holy spirit comes in accordance with righteousness and truth. If a person’s spirit is dead, he or she will be unable to understand.
God’s son Jesus testified about God, God’s word, heaven, and eternity (Jn 12:49-50). These are the kinds of things for which believers should hope (Jn 6:51-57; Jn 8:45-55; 1 Cor 15:51-54; Rev 21:1-6). In the time of the first coming, the Jews slandered Jesus by calling him a cult leader, Beelzebub, and demon-possessed just because he proclaimed the truth about heaven and eternity (Matt 12:22-28; Acts 24:5). Which spirits do you think were working through these people?
We must see God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit according to the Bible. In the scriptures, we can also see two witnesses who stand before the Lord of the earth (Zec 4; Rev 11) and a son who sits on the throne of Jesus (Rev 3:21). We must understand that this son is the one who overcomes. He is not God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. We must not misunderstand this point or else we will commit the sin of blasphemy against the Spirit.
A man named Mr. Shin has betrayed Shinchonji and united with the Christian Council of Korea. They are making up all kinds of lies to persecute Shinchonji chairman Man Hee Lee. It is their wish to make the world see our chairman as a crazy person who thinks he is Jesus or the spirit of God. This all stems from their ignorance of the Bible. Jesus Christ is the founder of Christianity. Likewise, Jesus is also the founder of Shinchonji Church of Jesus. In spite of all our attempts to correct them, they continue to tell lies making Man Hee Lee out to be the founder and saying that our congregation members can be saved by eating his flesh and drinking his blood. They claim that Shinchonji people even pray in the name of Man Hee Lee. These are all baseless lies.
Lots slanderous comments have been posted on the Internet. Who is doing such a thing? Where does the Bible say people should do this? The Bible tells us that those who lie belong to Satan and that we should not judge others (Matt 5:10-12; Matt 7:1-5; Jn 8:44). These slanderous comments, therefore, must have been made by those who belong to Satan. Jesus commanded us to love, forgive, and bless others. Is that what they are doing? They call themselves orthodox. They claim to be saved before the prophecies of betrayal, destruction and salvation are fulfilled. These are pure lies, but this is why Jesus prophesied that there would be lots of deception and many trials on the earth at the end of the age (Matt 24:3-4; Rev 3:10). The slanderous words that are posted on the Internet are lawless acts for which these people will be judged in the end. Believers should be able to discern whether these comments came from God or Satan by using the Bible as a standard. The pastors of the world fight against Shinchonji, not because it is a cult, but because do not want their congregation members to leave them and follow the real truth.
According to a poll conducted by the National Statistical Office of Korea, the number of Christians in Korea was estimated to be 8.6 million. This number reveals a dramatic decline when compared to the 12 million members about which Korean churches previously boasted. What do you think happened? The beginning of this decline can be traced back to the 90’s, when the Christian Council of Korea began to crack down on churches they felt were cults. They held seminars for pastors and lay people that were led by pastors who claimed to specialize in identifying cults. Many of the 3 million Christians who have left Presbyterian churches moved to Catholic churches. Others have come to Shinchonji, and still others have completely abandoned their religion. What is the root cause? The fact is that the bible colleges have no word; they have no truth.
We, at Shinchonji Church of Jesus, are enlightening people with the word of truth. We pray that you too will receive the truth and be saved.

The Messenger Who Speaks On Behalf Is Sent Today

Main reference: Revelation 22:16-17

The messenger who speaks on behalf is the pastor who has seen and heard the events of the fulfillment of the entire book of Revelation at the location where they took place (Rev 22:16, Rev 1:1-3). 2,000 years ago Jesus promised, “what will soon take place” to apostle John, and today Jesus has come to the New John (the promised pastor) and fulfilled them.
Just as the Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled at one place, the temple of John the Baptist (Jerusalem) at the time of Jesus’ first coming, the prophecies of the New Testament and Revelation have been fulfilled at one place, the tabernacle of the seven stars (seven messengers) at the time of Jesus’ second coming, today. Because of this, many people on this earth could not see the events. Jesus has chosen the one who has seen and heard the fulfillment of the event, at the location where they took place, as the messenger who speaks on behalf of him, and told him to testify the fulfillment of Revelation to the churches according to what he has seen and heard.

Man Hee Lee, chairman of Shinchonji, is taking a commemorative photograph in front of Art object expressing "Shinchonji will recovery the whole world" (94th graduation ceremony of Peter tribe)

Today, according to Revelation 1:1-3, all the churches of this earth must believe the word of this testimony to obtain salvation. The revelation of the gospel of the kingdom has been preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations for the last 2,000 years (Mt 24:14), and many saints of the earth are waiting for the fulfillment of the prophecies of the book of Revelation, so its fulfillment is being announced today.
Don’t be people like the time of Jesus’ first
coming who didn’t believe. I hope that you will verify according to Scripture and believe so you can be the saints who will attain salvation.

Shinchonji - Revelation and the true life of faith

The word revelation refers to the act of opening and showing the true nature of something that is hidden. Revelations from God come in two forms: revelation by vision and revelation by physical fulfillment. Prophecies are revelations by vision, but when their appointed time arrives, the fulfillment of those prophecies is also a form of revelation. In addition, each biblical era—the time of the Old Testament and the time of the New Testament—has its own revelation.
The revelation of the Old Testament
It was prophesied that the sealed book of the Old Testament (Is 29:9-13) would be fulfilled at an appointed time (Hb 2:2-3). When that time arrived, God opened the book (i.e., revealed its contents) and gave it to his chosen pastor. The chosen pastor then ate the revealed teachings and proclaimed them on behalf of God to his rebellious people (Ez 1-3). Jesus was that chosen pastor who received the open book and was sent to the rebellious people of Israel (Mt 15:24).
Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies in the Old Testament regarding himself (Jn 19:30). Because Jesus knew he was the only one who had received the open book (Ez 2-3), Jesus was able to say “No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him,” (Mt 11:27). This is also why he could say “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent,” (Jn 17:3). In other words, Jesus was saying there is no salvation and no eternal life without receiving the revelation God was giving through him.
The revelation of the Old Testament (i.e., the revelation by vision) was sealed up in figurative language until the time it was fulfilled. But as the prophecies were being fulfilled, the actual physical entities described by the prophecies began to appear. This is how the revelation by physical fulfillment always appears. Before the Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled, people could only preach the teachings of men. There was no salvation at that time. After the prophecies were fulfilled, though, salvation and eternal life could both be attained through faith in the revelation of the fulfillment.
As Jesus was proclaiming the word of revelation, most people refused to accept him or his testimony. This happened in fulfillment of the prophecies because God sealed the eyes of the prophets (the blind) and he covered the heads of the seers. God brought over them a deep sleep (Is 29). They were ignorant of God’s true will because God’s book was sealed to them. In Gal 3:23-24, Apostle Paul said, “Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.” When Jesus came and ushered in a new era of revealed faith, the time of the law and the Old Testament prophecies came to an end.
The revelation of the New Testament (Rv 5, Rv 10)
Although Jesus brought the revealed faith regarding the Old Testament prophecies, he also made many new prophecies that are still like words sealed in a scroll. While the Old Testament prophecies were still sealed, the prophets and pastors of that time were ignorant of their true meaning. Because they were ignorant, they were only able to preach the teachings of men and call on the name of a God they did not really know. It is the same situation with the sealed prophecies of the New Testament. Revelation 5 describes how the book of revelation is sealed with seven seals and is being held in God’s right hand. This sealed book is a prophecy that is about to be fulfilled. While it is still sealed, though, no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth can open it or even look inside (Rv 5:3).
While the book is still sealed, who can say, “I have received salvation. I am orthodox. I have received the holy spirit.”? Can those statements be true? The Bible says that the spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God (1 Cor 2:10). Until the sealed book of revelation is opened and true faith is revealed, Christians are “held prisoner” by the prophecies of the New Testament just as the Jews were held prisoner by the prophecies of the Old Testament. Revelation 1 tells us how the revelation will come (Rv 1:1-2). Jesus receives the sealed book of revelation in the New Testament and opens it. He makes it known to the servants of God by sending his angel to the promised pastor who comes in the role of Apostle John. Just like the time of the first coming, people who do not receive the new revelation through the pastor who eats the open book today do not know God, Jesus, or their will. These people will die because of their stubborness (Jude 1:10).
Those who do receive the new revelation through the pastor who eats the open book in Rv 10 will understand the entire book of Revelation. They will see and believe in the fulfillment God has orchestrated according to the prophecies of the New Testament. They will be able to distinguish God and the heavenly soldiers who belong to him from Satan and his armies. They will understand the will of God, which is the creation of his kingdom and priests here on earth. This kingdom is made up of the 144,000 priests and the great multitude in white who all belong to the 12 tribes. Nothing should be added to the revelation, nor should anything be taken away. God will cause those who add to the revelation to suffer from the plagues described in it. He will also take away any share in the tree of life and the holy city from those who take words away from the new revelation (Rv 22:18-19). Believers can recognize and know the true promised pastor and messenger of Jesus by receiving the revelation.
All the world’s religious people, including all denominations of Christians, believe they are saved. The Bible clearly tells us, however, that we can only attain salvation by belonging to the 12 tribes of God’s kingdom promised in Revelation.
Only those who receive the testimony of the pastor who received the revelation of the New Testament are able to know God, Jesus, and God’s will. Those who do not receive the revelation cannot know God, Jesus, or the one God sent. These people are as ignorant as beasts and will not be saved (Ps 49:20; Ps 73:22; Prv 30:2-3). In other words, those who refuse to receive the testimony regarding the fulfillment of the book of Revelation will not be saved. All believers must meet the new Apostle John who received the revelation of Jesus Christ. All believers must receive that same revelation from him if they want to attain salvation.

Are we void of Love?

Mt 6 v 12: “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

Despite this being what God’s word teaches us, I reckon if you can HONESTLY say that you have forgiven all your debtors you have serious skill! It is a challenge for us to really forgive from our hearts… the way God forgives.

It has been  interesting for me, especially with the current affairs bombarding us these days, to see how the most offensive and judgemental statements I have read, have been written by Christians. Now of course, this is subjective and while these statements upset me they may not upset everyone. Ultimately, my opinion and feelings aren’t what matters… the real question should be: Do these actions and statements offend God? Impossible question?… well… How can we say that our own daily actions do not offend God if we do not know what does? Surely this is why we have the Bible, to teach us about God’s standard so that we can keep our covenant with Him and avoid offending him at all costs!

          Chris·tian   adj.

          1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life

and teachings of Jesus. 2. Manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus; Christlike.
           3. Showing a loving concern for others; humane.

(Granted… This is from a free online dictionary, so it would be foolish to trust it as being a true source!!) What does The Truth – Bible   - say about God’s standard?

In Matthew 18 v 21-35, Jesus teaches about the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant. It’s a great story, but let’s understand God’s heart when he wrote this for us…

You’ve been living with your parents since birth, they have provided all you’ve ever needed. One day your Dad turns around and says “Right, you’re an adult now, it’s time to pay back all the expenses your mum and I have covered for the last 20 odd years”. Turns out, after doing the math, you owe your father an equivalent of about 15 years worth of salary, roughly amounting just over $2 BILLION (“10 thousand talents”). Now, unless you are a child of “Brangelina” there probably aint even a billionth of that in your account…Luckily for you, Daddy is really patient, generous and merciful! He follows his demand by saying “Never mind my boy, I did those things because I love you and you do not need to pay me back!” ANY grateful heart would remember that kind of grace forever more, and would live a life worthy of the kindness they were shown!

Instead, this kid, now very aware of the limited amounts in his savings, runs off and starts calling in his debtors. His one friend owes him about $2000, which is a lot of dosh!!! Who would just give that amount away?! (would you?… coz if you would you’ll find my bank details posted below…  ) Instead of showing the same mercy and grace his own father just taught him to have, he forces his friend to pay every dollar back.

This is putting it all very mildly, since Jesus’ teachings tell us this friend was imprisoned until he could pay his debt.

It is blatant to see how this situation is wrong, but how can we say we forgive others and then proceed to seek and destroy people who have hurt us? How is it forgiveness to point our Christian fingers at nations, in the face of their devastation, and say that they deserve all that they are getting? Pointing a finger only proves that you are just as void of God’s love as your enemy is (Prv 17 v 9, 1 Pet 4 v 8)… ” because love covers over a multitude of sins.”  Is it love that hates, and seeks revenge?  God’s word hold the standard for justice… if men knew what real justice was would Jesus have been deprived of it at their hands!? (Is 53 v 8, Acts 8 v 33)

To be Christian is to be “Christ-like“. Even as Christ was being tortured and killed he never once hated, cursed, judged or hurt those doing him wrong (Lk 23 v 34) … Matthew 26 v 28 reminds us that we are actually that kid whose Father loved us enough to cancel all of our debt! Jesus paid the price for our sins with his perfect, sinless blood… HOW do you plan on repaying God for that?

If you are not forgiving others, God will not forgive you… that is the condition! (Mk 11 v 25, Lk 6 v 37) But it goes deeper still, because it is for that very purpose that Jesus died at the first coming, so that God could forgive us our sins. If YOUR selfish actions prevent him from  cancelling your debt, you are rendering Jesus’ sacrifice on that cross to have been made in vain.

■Lk 6 v 37:  Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn,

and  you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
■Jn 14 v 15: If you love me, you will obey what I command

This blog post was written by a member of Shinchonji and is based on the teachings learnt in Shinchonji, Church of Jesus.
