Shinchonji - What is the true meaning of Rv 1:7?

The correct understanding of the Bible and of Shinchonji – The New Heaven and New Earth

This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.

What is the true meaning of Rv 1:7?

As the prologue to Revelation, Rv 1:1-8 is a highly condensed summary of all the chapters of Revelation. Before we discuss Rv 1:7, we should remind ourselves that Rv 1:7 is also part of that summary.

The fact that Jesus returns with the clouds means that he is coming in spirit. Clouds are capable of hiding things from view. In Acts 1:9-11, Jesus’ disciples were staring into the sky after Jesus’ ascension, and a cloud hid Jesus from their sight. Some angels told the disciples, “This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw him go into heaven,” (Acts 1:11b). Matthew 24:31 says that Jesus will return with his angels, while Mt 24:27 says the coming of the son of man will be like lightning. Luke 17:22-24 says, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the son of man, and you will not see it. For just like the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the son of man be in his day.” Jesus also says in Jn 16:10, “Concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer.” Apostle John saw the spirit of Jesus in Rv 1. As a matter of fact, the one who comes with the clouds is actually referring to the angel in Rv 10—the angel who comes in the name of the Lord.

In Mt 23:39 Jesus said, “You will not see me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’” The one who comes in the name of the Lord is the Advocate—the spirit of truth mentioned in Jn 14:26—which dwells within a person (Jn 14:17). The one in whom the Advocate—the one who comes in the name of the Lord—dwells also becomes “the one who comes in the name of the Lord.” Seeing the person in whom the spirit of the Advocate dwells is the same as seeing the spirit of the Advocate, who is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. If Mt 17:10-13 and Mt 11:14 are taken together, seeing John the Baptist, who came in the name of Elijah, was the same as seeing Elijah. According to Jn 5:43, Jn 14:8-11, and Jn 12:44-46, Jesus came in the name of the Father, and the Father dwelled in Jesus. Seeing Jesus, therefore, was the same as seeing the Father, and believing in Jesus was the same as believing in the Father. Similarly, God, Jesus, and heaven come down to the one who overcomes (Rv 3:12), and the one who overcomes sits on Jesus’ throne with him (Rv 3:21) at the time of the second coming. Hence, saying that Jesus comes with the clouds means that he is coming in the spirit. It is just like a cloud that hides things from people’s sight.

The fact that every eye will see him means, as discussed above, that people will see the person with whom the spirit of the Advocate has united. Seeing that person is the same as seeing the Lord. It is true that the spirits of those who pierced Jesus at the time of the first coming will see the spirit of Jesus when he returns at the time of the second coming, but the eyes of those who pierced Jesus (Rv 1:7) do not refer to those physically dead people. Because God was one with Jesus at the time of the first coming, those who pierced Jesus pierced God as well (Jn 15:23). In the same way, those who pierce the witnesses standing before the Lord in Rv 11 pierce Jesus at the time of the second coming.

The earth in Rv 1:7 is the same as the earth in Rv 13:8-10. It symbolizes God’s chosen people (the sun, moon, and stars mentioned in Gn 37:9-11) who are destroyed and return to being mere flesh when they fall from heaven. The destruction of the chosen people occurred in Adam’s time, Noah’s time, and Jesus’ first coming. What does it mean for all the tribes on the earth to mourn because of him? Just like the song of Moses in Dt 32 and the Lamentations of Jeremiah, the capture and destruction of God’s chosen people by the figurative nation of Babylon is a sign of the second coming. These chosen people will mourn because of their destruction. This is what it means for all the tribes on the earth to mourn. Although the two witnesses before the Lord put on sackcloth and work to help these formerly chosen people to repent, can the people understand if their spirits are dead? Anyone who is not harvested to receive salvation at the figurative Mt. Zion (Rv 14) will mourn. They are not morning the death of the two witnesses; they are mourning those who fell from heaven and were captured by the gentiles as a result of their betrayal in the end times. They also mourn the death of the spirits of those who were captured by the gentiles and refused to believe in the one who comes in the name of the Lord.

Chairman Man Hee Lee’s European visit garnered much attention from the local press.

Leipzig TV (Leipzig Fernsehm) of Germany reported through an interview with Chariman Man Hee Lee that, “Man Hee Lee is not an ordinary Christian, he proclaims to have been given the duty of testifying about the fulfillment of the events of the words of Revelation.” And also, “His name, ‘Man Hee’ means ‘light’ and ‘reveal,’ matching him very well,” they reported. Through this broadcasting the Chairman replied, “I would like to say the following to all the Christian’s out there. God’s words in the book of Revelation have been opened and fulfilled. Come and listen, and see for yourself.” And, “If this is true, then this means that the kingdom of heaven is already here,” he said this important message to the whole world.

North Berlin weekly newspaper, “Shinchonji does not match the title of “cult.”

A weekly newspaper in North Berlin spotlighted the content of the interview with Chairman Lee on the 17th, the Asension Day. It reported, “The number of congregation members in large churches of the West is decreasing, but contrary to these events, one religious organization introduced itself by hosting a seminar last Saturday evening at the Ernst Reuter,” and introduced Shinchonji by saying, “The word, ‘cult’ is characterized as a neutral party in addition to being used to describe a ‘new religious movement.’ When viewed in such context, this place called Shinchonji does not match the title of ‘cult.’”

In addition, “Mr. Man Hee Lee is the founder of about 300 mission centers around the world. Since its establishment, 85,000 students have graduated and the cost of tuition is absolutely free. The standard of its education is the Bible and to explain in detail, the teachings of the unraveling of the book of Revelation are taught here,” as the Chairman, Shinchonji, and Shinchonji Mission Center is introduced.

[Zion Christian Mission Center] “Give and receive without cost”

The 12 tribes of Shinchonji can produce over 1,000 students each month

Worldly seminary schools that buy and sell authority: “Pay money and learn”vsShinchonji’s Zion Christian Mission Center: “Give and receive without cost”
The CCK is claiming they are orthodoxy. This is like Calvin who label other denominations that don’t match their own church doctrines as a cult.
From the perspective of Shinchonji Church of Jesus (Acronym: ‘Shinchonji’), the CCK looks like an organization of false truth. It is not truth, but they are ruling with their own authority of church doctrines. To gain ecclesiastical authority the pastors are purchasing this with money today. There are those who haven’t even set a foot into a seminary school yet with money they purchase their way in becoming a pastor. The chairman of CCK also became the chairman by paying money. Not only pastors but the elders are the same. One time a chairman from a certain denomination came to Shinchonji saying he would ordain people here as pastors and elders if they paid $300 per person.
Some two pastors also brought pre-recorded notes which said, “will transfer church and church members to the pastors” written on it and they told us to place their stamp on the paper. They said this work was a command from God.

Not only that but the forceful conversion education people of CCC (Cult countermeasure committee), which was established by the CCK, received hundreds of dollars to do a forceful conversion education and to plant in false truth. According to the victims who were dragged into these forceful conversion education program, the forceful conversion education people (pastors) will command the parents to tie the victims hands and feet with a handcuff, to place tape over their lips, to steal their cell phones, to put them inside of a car and then send them to a one room place that has its doors locked and they would forcefully drag them to the conversion education pastors so that the victim could be planted with the false truth.

God said to “buy without cost” (Reference: Rv 21:6, 22:17), He also said to “freely you have received, freely give” (Reference: Mt 10:8). He did not say to “pay and learn. Pay money and then receive authority.”

These people persecuted Shinchonji because they taught freely without cost in their seminary. Which one is true according to the Bible? Also, which one is a true path of faith?

Just like how Jesus and the twelve disciples taught the word of God without receiving money, today Shinchonji is teaching freely in their Bible centers according to the teachings of God and Jesus. They are freely giving the water of life without any cost.

Zion Christian Mission Center, which is a free (Rv 22:17) Bible center, is a place where the harvested people are sealed with the new word (new song) that is the revealed word of the fulfillment of prophecies, and created the twelve tribes. This is the place where the throne in the spiritual realm and God will together be with. From the whole world, the revealed word of the new song can only come out from this place. This place is Shinchonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony that has been fulfilled according to the words of the Bible.

Just like how at the time of Moses the covenant with Abraham was fulfilled (Ex 12), just like how at the time of Jesus’ first coming the Old Testament was fulfilled (Reference: Jn 19:30), there is a fulfillment to the New Testament and that fulfillment that has been fulfilled is being testified to (Reference: Rv 1:2, Rv 10, Rv 22:16)

At Shinchonji, we are doing the work of fulfilling the New Testament, which no one else has ever done (Reference: Rv 21:6). Therefore even if one is given the entire world, this is a precious word that cannot be purchased, which is why it is taught for free. Although in the beginning the word might sound unfamiliar, and there might be many people who doubt and do not believe, but to those who persevere to the end will change in their hearts and be reborn.

Just like how in Rv 22 the tree of life bears fruit each month on its 12 branches, the 12 tribes of Shinchonji is producing over 1,000 students each month.
Just like how in Jn 15 Jesus is the tree of life, they are the first fruits who have been born of that word of life.

They have graduated from Zion Christian Mission Center according to God’s will and they have not graduated from worldly seminaries. One must keep in mind that they have learned the things from heaven and have graduated from heaven.

In order for this meeting to take place, the Chairman visited the German Embassy in Yong-San-Gu on May 4th, the day before his departure, and met with Hans Ulrich Seidt German ambassador to Korea and spoke with him regarding helping the relationship between Germany and Korea, giving him much expectations. Chairman Man Hee Lee is already famous between the ambassadors for globally serving beyond national borders and friendly relationship with them through the global volunteer organization, “Mannam,” which he is the honorable chairman for.

Chairman Lee started the conversation by saying, “I would like for you to provide much help and guidance for the unification of Korea. Korea must be reunited.” The former prime minister of East Germany, Maiziere answered, “The basis of the German reunification came from the peaceful protest of its citizens.

What is important is the education of the Korean youth regarding the need for the Korean reunification.” He also said, “It is impossible to break apart the people of the same nationality for a long time. The German reunification was not something expected, either. It seems like history is made by God,” and continued to give a positive message by saying, “I believe the Korean peninsula will also be reunited soon.” Chairman Lee also sincerely expressed his opinion that “the Korean reunification is very important, for the purpose of world peace and religious independence.”

Shinchonji Incheon Open Bible Seminar, Lecture of Chairman Man Hee Lee

Incheon-Dowon gymnasium filled with a crowd who came to hear the Word of Shinchonji

Shinchonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shinchonji) announced that it will be holding a Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar at Incheon-Dowon gymnasium on the 11th and the 12th. Shinchonji has been actively hosting various activities to publicize the Open Bible Seminar through street promotions, “Por-por-por” dance performances, banners in cars and streetlamps, advertising on buses, banners on major buildings, passing out flyers and business cards, and flash mobs.

The upcoming Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar will cover four topics all believers must know, “The Signs of the Lord’s Second Coming and of the End of Age”, “The Tree of Life and The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil”, “The Two Types of Seed and Harvest”, and “Revelation and Faith”.

Instructor Jin-Hyun Kim from the Incheon church of Shinchonji said, “Through this seminar many will be able to hear this new Word for the first time.” Regarding this Open Bible Seminar He also said, “This seminar is made up of contents all believers must know. We hope everyone will perceive the words of Jesus’ promise and have perfect faith, becoming believers who accept the Lord.”

Shinchonji Incheon church said regarding the Open Bible Seminar that, “This is a place that testifies to what has never happened before and will never happen again—the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Book of Revelation, God’s last work. It will testify to what was seen, heard, and was commanded to do, without adding anything to it or subtracting from it.” It also emphasized, “We are inviting all the famed doctors of divinity and pastors from all the churches in Korea. Through this opportunity, we hope this seminar will be a time of grace, perceiving the New Testament, Jesus’ words of promise.”

Also, a person related to Shinchonji said, “The gospel that began in the West came to the East, to Korea (“Energy of the West travelling to the East”), and as the time of fulfillment the prophecies of the Bible came, the gospel fulfilled in the East, in Korea, is now preached back to Europe (“Fulfillment of the East travelling to the West”).”

▲Chairman Man Hee Lee, lecturing at the location of the Shinchonji European Open Bible Seminar

Last May in Europe, Shinchonji held a Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar, being in the spotlight of the European media by receiving much attention before returning. Many of the local media in Europe fought to cover the Word of Shinchonji and Chairman Man Hee Lee extensively during the 12 days of his European visit. After listening to the lecture by Shinchonji’s Chairman Man Hee Lee, the European pastors requested for him to come to their own denomination to hold a lecture there. Also, the local Christians who heard the lecture by Shinchonji’s Chairman Man Hee Lee bowed before him and touched his hand, being saddened by the departure.
On the other hand, on the 31st of last month at the Gan-Seuk Dong-lo Royal Hotel, the Incheon Citizens’ Cult Countermeasure Group of Incheon Christianity Assembly gathered to hold a secret press conference. Criticism made by this group was reported by many media outlets through this press conference. However, Christian organizations in the Incheon area such as this seem to be on high alert as Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar is being hosted in this region of Incheon just 10 days after this press conference and in the midst of persecution.

The upcoming Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar is hosted by the Open Bible Research Institution, and can be viewed live on www.scjbible.tv through the Internet and through smartphones.

[Europe Open Bible Seminar] The “stone” rejected in Korea becomes the “light” of Europe!

“Requests pour in to “Please come to a upcoming seminar of 7,500 attendees and lecture”

The “Open Bible Seminar of the New Covenant” was hosted for the first time in Europe at the Ernst Reuters Hall, a government building of Berlin, on May 12th, 6:00 PM. About 600 ministers and Biblical scholars from 28 different countries including Africa and Italy were in attendance.

Photo Caption: The scene of Berlin Open Bible Seminar, with about 600 ministers from 28 different countries in attendance.Chairman Lee, who began the lecture by saying, “Brothers of Europe, I am here to testify God’s Word as promised in the Bible, in Matthew 24 and Matthew 13, and the Book of Revelation,” gave a passionate lecture for about two hours, without even taking a sip of water. All the theologians in attendance were shocked at the content of the lecture, summarizing all the chapters of the Book of Revelation, starting from Revelation 1:1.*Question-and-answer followed for the next five hours, along with interviewsThere were ministers who emotionally commented, “This is God’s Word!” and there were also other ministers who repented upon hearing the Word of Truth and kneeling in front of the pulpit.

Not only that, the Chairman garnered positive responses during his European trip like being invited to lecture at a seminar expecting 7,500 people in attendance in July, and being invited to another seminar for ministers in October. Such fervency continued on to the question-and-answer time for the next five hours with pouring questions by the theologians, and press interviews that followed after.*Summarizing the 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation in one hour
All the attendees of the seminar asked about studies to follow up after the seminar in order to know more of the Word of Shinchonji, forecasting the rapid spread of the Revealed Word of Shinchonji in all the regions of Europe.
Shinchonji church in Germany said that it has prepared great instructors and education system, preparing for such fervent requests for studies after. Zion Christian Mission Center of Shinchonji, with about 300 facilities in 13 different countries of the world, had 20,000 students in last year alone, and graduated about 85,000 students in total—boasting being the biggest in the world from a single denomination.

NBC Introduces Instructor Lee Man Hee

Controversial religious leader comes to Bakersfield

A controversial religious leader came to Bakersfield on Monday.

Korean Christian instructor Man Hee Lee was here to speak about the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation and to what some people call the most disputed content in the Bible about the end of time.

The ballroom at the Double Tree Hotel was filled with more than 100 followers and local church leaders to listen to Man Hee Lee testify on the Fulfillment of Revelation, something that often sparks controversy.

Man Hee Lee was born to a poor farming family of royal descent. He claims Jesus appeared to him and anointed him.

"He says that he has sent a angel, a messenger, to testify to the churches. And, that is what was promised. So to the churches, Jesus sent this individual here to testify to those very churches," said Man Hee Lee through an interpretor.

Lee claims he is the only person who saw and heard the events of Revelation and can testify to their meanings exactly according to the Bible. His words Monday peaked the interest of some local ministries to do further research.

"It's important that we study this in a lot more detail. This was just an overview, but we need to dissect it a little more and make sure it's spot on with the Word. I feel good about it, but I want to check it out a little bit deeper," said Lawrence Gonzales, Fresh Start Ministries.

Controversy seems to go hand in hand with many parts of the Bible and interpretations.

Another local minister says she can see why there would be controversy with Lee's instruction.

"He is very sure of his interpretation, and I think when there is someone who is very sure of their interpretation, there is always somebody else who interprets it differently," said Doris Dunham, Church of the Brethren.

Bakersfield wasn't Lee's first California stop on this trip. He spoke at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove on Saturday, where many members were angry that he was appearing at their venue.

Lee also spoke in New York, Belgium and Germany.

His Tabernacle of the Testimony, headquartered in South Korea, has 140,000 members worldwide.

Lee says the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.

We spoke with local Catholic leaders who said they did not know Lee was speaking here on Monday.

The never happened before and will never happen again fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation, testified around the globe

A pastor who attended the seminar requested, “Please come to South Africa to lecture in front of 1,000 pastors.”

(Photo) On July 21st, about 1,500 believers, including pastors, gathered at the Crystal Cathedral near Los Angeles to listen to the lecture of Chairman Man Hee Lee from Shinchonji Church of Jesus who testified.

The hearts of the pastors and reporters who heard the Revealed Word were moved, blooming in joy of the Spirit, like flowers of heaven.
A pastor who attended the seminar requested, “Please come to South Africa to lecture in front of 1,000 pastors.”

Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shinchonji Church of Jesus brought a huge wave of inspiration to the media and the pastors of the world by doing the work of “Shinchonji’s Fulfillment of the East traveling to the West - Part II” as he went from Korea to Europe, Europe to the United States, then from United States back to Korea. He went around the whole world for a month, starting from July 2nd.

The gospel of heaven Jesus preached 2,000 years ago reached the ends of the earth, the Republic of Korea through Europe in the West (the energy of the West coming to the East). Since then, the New Testament has been fulfilled in the Republic of Korea in the East, and now the fulfillment of the New Testament is being preached back to the West, to be believed and put in to action. The work of “the fulfillment of the East traveling to the West” has been done with great success, twice in May and July, bringing excitement to the whole globe. Pastors and reporters were also inspired upon hearing the Revealed Word, blooming the heavenly flower of joy in the Holy Spirit.

(Photo) Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar, hosted in Houffalize, Belgium, on July 4th

Chairman Lee cancelled all his schedules already planned in advance for the year and went on his second trip of “the fulfillment of the East traveling to the West,” only 6 weeks after his first trip to the West. Chairman Lee said, “It wasn’t only because of the requests of the pastors overseas. I decided to go on this trip in order to fulfill the will of Jesus, who purchased me with his blood.”

On July 4th, at the Chairman’s first seminar location in Houffalize, Belgium, many pastors greeted the Chairman’s party by shouting “Hosanna” with palm branches in their hands. One of the pastors was particularly passionate in greeting Chairman Lee, reminiscent of David who danced to the point of not realizing his clothes came off at the joy of recovering the Ark of the Covenant that was taken by the Gentiles. It was evident how sincere their hearts were in waiting for the Chairman’s revisit to Europe.

About 300 pastors gathered from all over the world that day to meet Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shinchonji at the “13th International Conference,” representing about 10 different countries of the world. Following the conference, Chairman Lee was then invited to the Atterbury Chapel Church in Frankfurt, Germany on July 8th, and led the Sunday service by giving a sermon in front of about 200 believers gathered from all over the world. Some of them even kneeled in front of Chairman Lee at the end of service.
The long-awaited "Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar of America" was also hosted at the center of the world's media in New York, United States, at the Times Center on July 14th, and at the Crystal Cathedral near Los Angeles. At the seminar in Crystal Cathedral, over 1,500 people attended the event including about 500 pastors, and 1,000 attendees among them registered to study further the Word of Shinchonji. Not only that, well-known media companies in America even visited where the Chairman was staying, and a live broadcast interview that was originally planned for 5 minutes was extended into a 40-minute interview.

In particular, while believers in Los Angeles were passionately welcoming the Chairman, a large cloud appeared in the sky in the shape of a cross, allowing all who were at the scene to experience the work of the Holy Spirit with such strength. And just as the Chairman said, "the spirits of the 100,000 Shinchonji
members are with us," and the work of the Holy Spirit were with the prayers of Shinchonji members all over the world, as they were praying according to the timezone the Chairman was in, no matter how early or late it was in their time.

Shinchonji - Light of Life, the Culture of Heaven

The correct understanding of the Bible and of Shinchonji (The New Heaven and New Earth)

This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith

Light of Life, the Culture of Heaven

Lee Man Hee, a descendant of the Korean royal family, who was sent from heaven as the light of love — Who is he?

Born to a poor peasant family on September 15, 1931, he was given a name meaning light. Why was he given such a name? Before his birth, his grandfather saw in a dream the ray of a strong light separating the dark sky and descending upon the mother of his grandson. Having had this extraordinary dream, his grandfather decided to name his grandson “light” before birth.

The creator God was life and light according to the scriptures (Jn 1:1-4). His son, Jesus, was also the light of life (1 Jn 1:1-2; Jn 12:46). The light that came from heaven was the word, which granted life to all mankind (Jn 1:1-4). Heaven provides life to us as it gives the light, rain, and air. It grants us this light as a means of true love.

The light that came from heaven can also be symbolized as the culture of heaven that gives life to all things. This is the unchanging culture that created all things in heaven and on earth. The only possible means to renew and heal the tainted creatures is the culture of heaven, the light of true love. Within this culture of heaven dwells the divine being of the creator, the holy spirit. The one who knows the foundation of the creation of heaven and earth is the creator. Furthermore, the holy spirit of the creator knows the deep things (the secret) of heaven and earth (1 Cor 2:10). This is the culture of heaven.

The new era, the era of Shinchonji (i.e. new heaven and new earth), is created through the culture of heaven. Let’s bring peace and restore light for each individual and for the world through the culture of heaven! The one who can accomplish peace and restore light is the person of the culture of heaven, who has seen and heard what was in heaven, and who has received commands from above.

Let’s examine some of the great figures from the 6,000 years of the biblical history and their accomplishment. God made promises as well as carried out the work of creation. The ones who testified about God’s promises and creation were the people chosen by heaven. Adam was the first man (the chosen person, the chosen pastor). Noah, Moses, and Jesus were also chosen by heaven afterwards. Siddhartha and Confucius prophesied about the coming Jesus. Who, then, is the pastor whom God has promised through Jesus and his 12 disciples in the New Testament (i.e. NT)? Jesus has prophesied that he would put this promised pastor in charge of all his possessions (Mt 24:45-47). The pastor promised in the NT is the one who overcomes in the battle against Satan and the pastors belonging to him through the truth (Rv 2-3; Rv 12). God renews the world through him who overcomes. The creation has eagerly been waiting (Rom 8) for the one who overcomes to appear (Rv 21:7). The creation has been waiting in eager expectation for him to appear because the one who overcomes can liberate them from their bondage to decay and renew them.

That which enables one to overcome and to renew the creation is the culture of heaven. On March 1, 1919, 33 Korean representatives proclaimed the Declaration of Korean Independence. Within the Declaration there is this statement: “Behold! The culture of the new heaven and new earth renew the whole world!” That which enables this declaration to be fulfilled is only the culture of heaven. The holy spirit, the divine being of heaven, resides in this culture of heaven. This spirit enters into people who accept the culture of heaven, and it can renew those people. This is what culture is capable of. The wisdom residing in the culture of heaven is living and active. It re-creates men’s thoughts into the thoughts of heaven, new thoughts. This is the culture of heaven. The culture of the earth is made of what is on the earth. The culture of heaven, in contrast, is made of what is in heaven. In fact, all things in heaven and on earth were created by heaven. We must renew the world, accomplish peace, and restore light through the culture of heaven. Let’s rid ourselves from the taints of the secular world and be born again of the seed of the culture of heaven!

The chairman of Shinchonji has come as a precious bowl (the bowl of heaven) that stores the wisdom and the commands from heaven, and the seed of the culture of heaven. That which can make this known to people is his wisdom and the word of heaven he has mastered. In addition, people have known and realized the value of this person through various cultural festivals that served as a light. The divine being of heaven is capable of displaying and accomplishing what no one else on this earth can accomplish within a brief instant.

Through the 6th World Peace Restoration of Light Culture and Sports festival, the eyes and the ears of people, who have watched the event, have been opened. This festival has opened up their eyes and ears because it portrayed the culture of heaven where the spirit of heaven dwelt. Victory, joy, unity, and the flowers of love have bloomed widely, and the flames of peace have risen high.

The footsteps of world peace and the restoration of light have begun humbly, but prosperous will the end be! The seed of the light of life has been planted, and it will bear its fruit. Light has met with another light, and they will become a greater light. World peace will be accomplished, and light will be restored as everyone is united through love. All things will respond to the culture of the pioneers, who bring world peace and restore the light.

The representative of the Mannam Volunteer Association, Ms. Kim, has been watching the Shinchonji chairman closely. There is a statement the representative Kim has been proclaiming during each and every festival she hosted. She has spoken several times in public how the chairman, Lee Man Hee, was someone that the Republic of Korea as well as the whole world absolutely needs, and that everybody should at least meet him once in their life time. During one of the opening speeches for the World Peace Festival, the representative Kim confidently assured everyone that the 6th World Peace Festival would surely let everyone understand why the chairman, Lee Man Hee, was an essential person to all mankind. If you were one of the spectators of the event on that day, you will know the answer to her statement. International participants around the world didn’t leave their seats from morning till late night. Shouts from the participants never stopped for a second. People’s hearts and thoughts were united throughout the event. The event was indeed the festival of God where people were united with spirits above. This is the answer to her statement. The chairman Lee is a mentor of this world who proclaims the physical fulfillment of the prophecies of the Bible, which has taken place in the east, and is being proclaimed to the west. He is the embodiment of the true light, life and love, and he continues working to bring peace and to restore the light to the world. He is someone that all mankind should at least meet once in order to accomplish world peace.

The Shinchonji chairman, Lee Man Hee, was a Korean War veteran, who fought in the frontlines. Having been deeply deplored over the tragedy of the fratricidal war and the death of the citizens of his own, the chairman Lee refuses to take any money that the Korean government provides monthly for former war veterans. He is a peace activist who loves his own nation and citizens, and who vigorously runs in effort to bring peaceful unification to the Korean peninsula.

While watching the tragedy of the fratricidal war, Lee made up his mind before his dying comrades that he would accomplish world peace and restore the lost light for his own country and citizens. Lee has never stopped praying before God, asking for his help. Nothing has stopped him from praying because Lee believed that God would be capable of bringing world peace, and that it would be feasible if God would help, and that heaven would be capable of providing wisdom and the tools to accomplish world peace.

Why, why, and why did young men around the world have to die? For whom did they have to die? The sacrifice of their lives is greater than the universe. The wish of the deceased souls was surely the world peace and the restoration of light. Their wish must have been to live in a world without war and without death. Everyone living in this globe is the same family that surpasses national borders, races, or religions. Why do we have to fight against one another? Why do people have to kill others’ lives that are granted by the light, rain, and the air from heaven?

If religions of the world are united, the world will also be unified. In order for the religions to be united, all religions must be overcome by the truth. The truth of the culture of heaven belongs to heaven, and it must be given from heaven.

The chairman Lee was the first person who led the Korean New Town Movement in his hometown, Cheongdo. By having met the behind-the-scenes volunteer, Kim Nam Hee, the Mannam representative, the chairman Lee has expanded Mannam Volunteer Association not only nationwide but worldwide as well.

Furthermore, these two representatives hosted a commemorative event for the 54th Korean Memorial Day on June 6, 2009 (otherwise referred to as the First Citizens’ Festival for the Love of their Country, Love for Taeguk, Love for Moogunghwa). This festival was hosted on the road in front of the COEX Mall, Seoul, South Korea. The national flags of the 16 Korean War participating countries were made into 625 kites, and the two leaders let these kites float in the Seoul sky and prayed for the rest of the UN war veterans and the deceased souls. The two leaders determined their minds not to let the sacrifice of the veterans go in vain. In order to cherish the memory of the deceased souls, they made a large-scale Korean palm-printed flag (60 by 40 meters), which required the participation from 17,337 people--including students from elementary, middle, and high schools, and universities; citizens, soldiers, international residents, and more. This large-scale flag was put up, and the memory of the deceased souls was cherished by many Korean citizens. As Korea’s largest palm-printed flag, it has been registered in the Korean Book of Guinness, and it has been kept in the National Cemetery, Seoul.

Those two representatives held another citizens’ festival to commemorate the 65th Korean Independence Day held August 14-August 15, 2010 at Seoul Olympics Peace Plaza. This event called the Festival of World Peace, Restoration of Light, and Victory, took place in front of the Peace Gate with about 200,000 spectators and several ambassadors from different countries. This event, still considered as the flower of culture, has been something unprecedented until now. The large-scale palm-printed flag was put up high in the sky again on that day, and a laser show was performed on the background of this flag in the night sky of the event. The laser show portrayed how one person, who became a light, was added unto another light. The motto of the event was also displayed on the flag by the laser, which said, “When light meets light, there is victory.” The chairman, Lee Man Hee, represented 33 people from various walks of life, and read aloud the declaration from the Korean Unification Monument. It seemed like the sky was going to explode by the hopeful shouts of the spectators. The Korean Unification Declaration Monuments are now standing both at the Goseong Unification Observatory, east frontlines [Korean border], and at the west frontlines, Imjingak.

Furthermore, Mannam hosted another festival to commemorate the 60th Korean War on June 26, 2010, at Sejong Cultural Center, Seoul. Korean War veterans and ambassadors from 60 Korean War participating and supporting countries were invited to cherish the memory of the deceased souls. As part of the preliminary events ahead of the actual commemoration, Mannam volunteers toured 21 locations at which the Korean War Memorial Monuments are situated including the UN Memorial Park in Busan. The volunteers paid a silent tribute to the former war veterans. At the same time roughly 14,400 elementary school students from 17 different regions in South Korea participated in printing their thumbs to make national flags of the Korean War participating countries. These thumb-printed flags were presented to the ambassadors who were in attendance of the event. On the day of the event, the ambassadors from 21 countries partook of creating a special bronze sculpture by agreeing to print their hands on it. The sculpture contains the determination from those ambassadors that they oppose warfare and desire to keep peace within this world. It is now being kept in the Yongsan War Memorial Museum, Seoul.

The participants also took part in creating a time capsule during the event. The time capsule contains the messages from the Korean War veterans, the messages of gratitude from the citizens, and the message that pictures the Korea that will have gained peace 10 years later, and so forth. This capsule is scheduled to be opened 10 years later in 2020.

The Shinchonji chairman and the Mannam representative (Kim Nam Hee) have bound the globe as one and created Mannam International that surpasses borders, races, religions, and societies. They are leading the way of the volunteers worldwide. Who could possibly accuse them of wrongdoing unless insane?

The culture of heaven has finally been launched! It is accomplishing world peace and is restoring the lost light through the volunteers who are working unnoticed and yet shining. What is the culture of heaven? It is the culture that deals with the highest spiritual world. It is the culture of heaven, the culture where God and people are at work together. It is an extraordinary philosophy that would be hard for people to believe even if they were told. It is a movement that is unseen, and it is like a gemstone that enters into people’s hearts and creates them.

In September 2012, Shinchonji and Mannam had a joint festival entitled “The 6th World Peace Restoration of Light Culture and Sports Festival.” It was held in Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium, Seoul. In fact, the gate of the stadium was closed for the last 24 years until last year this festival was held. Twelve flames of fire rose to the sky on the day of the festival, and the 200,000 spectators stored the flames in their eyes and hearts. As all the participants were united as one, the festival was truly a joyous event for both people and for the spirits.

Several international reporters, ambassadors, and the special supervisors of the presidents of different nations referred to this event as “the grand festival of heaven and earth.” Having been deeply inspired, they also made a remark, “The entire event was like flowers blooming at the gates of heaven.” It was a festival that only Shinchonji and Mannam were able of hosting. It served as proof how there is victory when light meets light.

More than any physical battles that kill people’s flesh, spiritual conflicts within religious organizations where people insult and label others as heretics are much cruel. Unlike those existing conflicts, the World Peace Festival truly showed the possibility of peace and the restoration of light. It was a place of unity where everyone held hands together, rising above the walls that used to separate them before.

The promised pastor in Shinchonji, the one who has overcome, received the fire of heaven from an angel. He passed it onto the 12 tribes, and the 12 tribes shot the 12 flames of the fire to the sky. The flames ignited a flame holder, and it burst into flame as the fire of God, the fire of peace and unification. This shall blaze up forever in each person’s eyes and hearts!

The World Peace Restoration of Light Culture and Sports was indeed a festival of victory as Shinchonji and Mannam have met together—as light met with light.
