[Shincheonji World News] World Without War by Peace Advocate Man Hee Lee

These immortal words of one of history’s greatest minds are embodied by the actions of world renowned peace activist, Man Hee Lee. With the help of the Philippines’ Nationwide Association of Pastors, Mr. Lee, along with his Korean Christian organization, Shincheonji, held a bible seminar and world peace seminar at the auditorium of the College of San Agustin in Biñan, Laguna.
Mr. Lee was invited by different churches in the local areas of Laguna and Cavite to hold a bible seminar for their local church groups. A World Without War is what he envisions and advocates through political support, preaching God’s words and mobilizing the youth.

I attended the seminar with two other friends, namely Kiko Tawagon and Maddie Laconico who helped me with coverage. Upon entering the auditorium, we were met with loud, heartfelt worship singing. Everyone was on their feet praising, clapping and proclaiming God’s glory.

Local pastors and churches near the area of the school lent a helping hand in making this event possible, assisting with registration, maintaining order, and guiding all the attendees.

 Mr. Lee is a visionary who dreams of a world rid of the terrors of war. He has been travelling to different countries and locations, from South Africa, to Germany, to Papua New Guinea, to New York, and beyond. Mr. Lee, with the Korean Christian organization, Shincheonji, has been meeting with these countries’ religious leaders and heads of state to appeal to them to support his cause in eradicating wars and ending their support for such violent causes.
His actions were first ignited by his own experiences as a young soldier on the front lines of the war between North and South Korea. He believes that young students shouldn’t be sent to fight wars and be robbed of their chance at making the most of their youth. Preaching about God’s word and the fulfillment of God’s promise to His people, Mr. Lee hopes to ignite the conscience of people in the hope that they too would be inspired to become involved in his campaign for world peace.
According to Mr. Lee, he has been advocating his Christian seminars and peace efforts for quite a long time now. He has inspired 130 international youth groups in certain countries in the declaration of peace and revolution to be forwarded to the United Nations. To help further his causes for ending the turmoil in states that are in a state of war, these youth groups and several more supporters from other countries try to motivate presidents and politicians to drop the guns and sing for peace.

This 80-yeard old founder of Shinchonji, or New Heaven and New Earth, came to the Cyrstal Cathedral on Saturday for a seminar on the controversial Book of Revelation. He was courted with rockstar status by hundreds of believers.
 
He shares a testimony that is only according to the Scriptures. Verse by verse, we can see God's intention with these words, and really opens the Scriputres that way, where we can see God's heart and intentions.
 
Mr. Lee has a strong base of support in his native Korea, and claims a 140,000 members including followers in Europe and the US.
 
Zion California Church in Bellflower sponsored this event in Garden Grove, and this seminar of Revelation lasted two hours, and was translated into English, Spanish, and Chinese to a culturally diverse audience.
 
Mr. Lee said he welcomes the criticism, and wants God's people to listen to the message for themselves.
 
I'd rather have them to perceive the purpose of God and purpose of His work, so that they can have the correct walk in faith, to be in heaven together.

Chairman Lee, who began the lecture by saying, “Brothers of Europe, I am here to testify God’s Word as promised in the Bible, in Matthew 24 and Matthew 13, and the Book of Revelation,” gave a passionate lecture for about two hours, without even taking a sip of water.
 

All the theologians in attendance were shocked at the content of the lecture, summarizing all the chapters of the Book of Revelation, starting from Revelation 1:1.

 

Shinchonji church in Germany said that it has prepared great instructors and education system, preparing for such fervent requests for studies after. Zion Christian Mission Center of Shinchonji, with about 300 facilities in 13 different countries of the world, had 20,000 students in last year alone, and graduated about 85,000 students in total—boasting being the biggest in the world from a single denomination.

ANAHEIM - in a bright, colorful and stage-managed event that almost went off without a hitch, more than 1,500 people flocked to the Crystal Cathedral here on Saturday to hear a sermon by the controversial South Korean religious leader - whose followers refer to him as Instructor Man Hee Lee.
 
Lee is the founder of the Tebernacle of the Testimony, which, according to its lightmeetslight website, is a ministry of 53 churches that boasts 140,000 members worldwide.
 
In a Two-hour plus oration - given without notes and aided by a chalk board - Lee's testimony included that Jesus has appeared before him and the Book of Revelation has already been fulfilled.
 
The sermon was in Korean, but attendees were provided with headsets that translated the lesson into several languages, including English and Spanish.

Korean Christian leader, Man Hee Lee, led an open bible seminar over the weekend at the Christ Cathedral (formerly known as the Crystal Cathedral) drqwing in large crowds.

The event, which took place on saturday, July 21, included performances, music and of course a seminar led by Man Hee Lee himself.

Man Hee Lee, 82, is te founder of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shinchonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony) and is a descendant of a Korean royal family of the Joseon Dynasty.
He claims to have been anointed by Jesus in his youth and has since gained a following that stretches around the world.
His Tabernacle of the Testimony is headquartered in south korea with 53 church branches and has 140,000 worldwide members.

During the seminar Lee spoke about the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation and answered questions from the eager crowd.
Lee read through each chapter of Revelation and explained his interpretation of its symbolism.
Although his speech was in Korean, the audience was provided headsets which allowed them to hear it in any language.
The event saw a large and very diverse crowd of those who had arrived to hear what Man Hee Lee had to say.

[Shinchonji] Going beyond Korea, now to America

Introducing the words of Shinchonji on the American broadcasting network throughout the states of America on Azteca TV

Current Christianity in Korea is being pulled by its root by the words of truth from Shinchonji. Not only that but the words of Shinchonji is without a doubt spreading rapidly throughout the world.
Last January 7th, the Mexican television broadcasting network Azteca broadcasted the Shinchonji Word Seminar held in Jam-Shil in September of last year. They broadcasted 30 minutes of the lecture content spoken personally by the Chairman Man Hee Lee. The words of Shinchonji broadcasted on television through the Azteca broadcasting network shown throughout the United States of America made many realize the amazing work of Shinchonji in spreading throughout the whole world.Shinchonji expressed, “this is the work of the Holy Spirit. Starting from now there will be broadcasting of the introduction of Shinchonji aired not only in America but in Europe and other countries throughout the world.” Soon Shinchonji will widely be known universally that this is solely the place God acknowledges, the kingdom of righteousness and justice, the City of Truth. Currently, Shinchonji established 50 churches in 15 different countries, with approximately 3,000 international congregation members registered as a church member. In times of crisis, whether it be the crisis in Europe, conflicts in Syria or other many disputes that exist today, people seek answers from religion. Approximately 2.2 billion people are Christian, and among them is Mr. Man Hee Lee. Nevertheless, this Korean man, Man Hee Lee is no ordinary Christian. He says that he holds the mission of declaring to the world that the book of revelation has been fulfilled exactly as it has been written in the bible.

 Man Hee Lee, who was born in Korea, had only visited the United States and Asia for the Open-Bible Seminars until last Saturday when he came to Berlin for the first time to testify the word of God. This visit to Europe is of great importance to Mr. Man Hee Lee.

“The purpose of my visit to Europe is to proclaim that the prophecy has been fulfilled to those who believe in the promise of the New Testament that the prophecy has been fulfilled. The seed of the Gospel had been sown into the field of the world, starting from Europe and spreading to the East. The prophecy has been fulfilled as promised in the East. This is what I am declaring. The promise of Jesus is what believers and people of faith must see and believe.”

82-year-old Mr. Lee became a Christian as a child. In Asia where Buddhism and Taoism have its deep roots, Christianity is treated contemptuously. For this, Mr. Man Hee Lee is glad to see that his church has achieved great expansion in Asia. There is a reason behind such growth.

 

“There is no word of the revelation, and that the word of God has been depleted.All pastors, presbyters, elders, missionaries and people of our church have gathered to hear the word of truth.”

The word “Hee” from his name holds the meaning of ‘light’ or ‘to enlighten.’ According to those around him, the name suits him very well. Thousands of believers visit his seminar to hear and find the word and spiritual enlightenment. Nevertheless, the words of Mr. Man Hee Lee pertains to all Christians in the world.

“I would like to give the following message to all Christians. God’s book, the book of Revelation is open and the words have been fulfilled. Come and see for yourself. If this is true, it means that Heaven, the Kingdom of God has already come. Repent and believe that you can be reborn and become the people of Heaven.”

It is not surprising to see that people are seeking comfort in his message.

Religion and faith have always been the themes of controversy and the causes of heated discussions that create disharmony even to this day. We do not know by whose name the Crusades waged war, but it has not yet ended. Nonetheless, the number of congregation members in large churches of the West is decreasing. Contrary to these events, one religious organization introduced itself by hosting a seminar last Saturday evening at the Ernst Reuter. A reporter from North Berlin had the opportunity for an exclusive interview with the spiritual leader of this organization, Pastor Man Hee Lee. This is the content regarding the religious organization called Shinchonji.

We often used to the word “cult” to label other religious organizations. The word “cult“ is originally a neutral term referring to sects that cause controversy due to differences in philosophical, religious, or political teachings and customs. This concept is used in particular to label religious organizations that have been separated from their own religious parent. This organization, Shinchonji, has been undermined by rumors and hearsay from other churches, branded with a negative image as if it were a danger to previously-established religious organizations, churches and societies. The word “cult“, in modern religious studies and sociology, is not a term used to point out special groups or new religious organizations; it is characterized as a neutral party in addition to being used to describe a “new religious movement.“ When viewed in such context, this place called Shinchonji does not match the title of “cult.”

*Who is Chairman Lee?
Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shinchonji was born in today’s Republic of Korea in 1931, in a poor farming household of the countryside. During that time, not many people believed in the religion of Christianity. In spite of this, he was baptized by a foreign Baptist missionary from Seoul. In 1984, he established “Shinchonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony,“ based on his various personal experiences.

* What does this organization do?
The first thing that caught my eye in Ernst Reuter Hall was how full it was of people, even to the last seat. There were several photojournalists and people of different broadcasting stations bustling about for this big occasion. The event, introduced as the “Open Bible Seminar”, began with a charismatic presider who ignited excitement with praise songs. Then, Chairman Man Hee Lee approached the pulpit, lecturing close to three hours in Korean regarding religious organizations and denominations. The careful preparation of translation equipment accommodated several ongoing translations in multiple languages throughout the night.

[Exclusive Interview]
North Berlin Newspaper Company had an exclusive interview, conducted through simultaneous translations between a Korean broadcast station associate and Mr. Man Hee Lee’s answers in Korean. Here is the summary of the interview that lasted about two hours.

Newspaper: Why is it a new church and what change is there in faith?

Chairman Lee: I testify to the Book of Revelation, to what I have seen and heard in its regard.

Newspaper: What you have seen and heard?

Chairman Lee: Yes, as everyone knows, the Book of Revelation is a revelation given in vision, and is recorded with many parables. Today, we are finally able to fully understand Revelation. I testify to what I have seen, heard, and with what I was commanded according to the command in Revelation chapter 10. This testimony is not a prophecy, but the reality of the fulfillment of the prophecies. Only through these words of testimony about the fulfillment of Revelation can people see its reality and know the true God and Jesus, understand all the events and the meaning of Revelation and receive salvation.

Newspaper: For me, as well?

Chairman Lee: One must eat the food at the proper time to receive salvation.

Newspaper: What purpose do you have for Germany?

Chairman Lee: My purpose is for all the believers who believe in the New Testament of the Bible to know through this lecture that the prophecies have been fulfilled. The seed of the gospel of the heavens came from Europe and reached all the way to the ends of the earth in the east, and it has been fulfilled there as promised.

Newspaper: What events will take place when the Book of Revelation is fulfilled?

Chairman Lee: Revelation, which is a book of God, has opened and has been fulfilled. Come and confirm this for yourself! And if it is true, it means heaven is already here. Then you must repent and believe it. Then you will be reborn and will become the people of God.

Newspaper: What should I confirm?

Chairman Lee: Look around you. Wherever you look there are violence, terror, misfortune, and crises. In Revelation it says, “I saw seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets… Revelation is fulfilled when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet.“

Newspaper: Then what trumpet number are we in?

Chairman Lee: This is the seventh trumpet.

Newspaper: Teacher Lee, what do you personally desire?

Chairman Lee: Receive the Revealed Word and be thankful to God. The end of religion is the time of the harvest. The “war“ that takes place at the end of age is a spiritual war, fought with religious authorities. Only the One Who Overcomes has the food for eternal life and the authority to judge. Only the One who Overcomes can rule over all nations.

Mr. Man Hee Lee is the leader and the founder of approximately 300 seminary schools throughout the world. About 85,000 students have graduated since the establishment of the seminary schools which are free to attend. These seminary schools instruct with the Bible as the standard. To further elaborate, they teach the unraveling of the Book of Revelation. Revelation is the last book of the Bible and is also referred to as the Mystery of Revelation, the Book of Vision of John, and the Book of Vision. This book is a book of comfort for the holy churches. There are 22 chapters in Revelation, all of which are recordings of the content of revelation Apostle John received on the Island of Patmos.
Currently, there is a Shinchonji church in Berlin with approximately 50 congregation members, managed with the offerings from their members. 10,000 people in Korea received this seminar through the Internet and television.

Shinchonji Chairman Man Hee Lee met Columban Luser of Gottweig Monastery of Austria

The day before returning to Korea, on the 14th, Chairman Lee and his group visited Gottweig monastery of Austria, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. An official of the monastery expressed surprise at the monastery and the abbot being publicized through media, because it was unprecedented that the entrance of the “most holy place” was granted, as only the priests are usually allowed to enter, beyond the sanctuary of “the holy place,” as it was at the time of the Old Testament.

The group was also able to enter into the monastery library, which boasts having the history of 100 years, carrying also the original letters from Apostle Paul. Women were never allowed to enter previously, making visit of the group with the Chairman even more special.

All the artifacts of the monastery face east, to commemorate the rising sun and Jesus who resurrected, proving that the Chairman and his group’s visitation to this monastery is the Holy Spirit visiting what waited the light of the East to come.

Chairman Lee, finding a painting depicting Ezekiel chapter 37 while being guided by the abbot and the assistant abbot, said, “The content of Ezekiel was fulfilled at the time of Jesus’ First Coming—the fulfillment is the content of Matthew 23 and John 5,” shocking those around him. He also revealed the purpose of his European visit to the abbot during a private meeting, by saying, “The promise of the New Testament has also been fulfilled in one location, and it must be made known to the people who received the gospel,” explain the purpose of preaching the Bible. He also said, “Whether one believes or not depends on the person’s judgment and effort,” and, “I respect all the people who dedicated everything for their faith.” He answered to the warm welcome of the monastery by saying, “The scene of this place will always be in my eyes and my heart, being connected to it.”

[Europe Open Bible Seminar]‘These are the true words of God!’

This was the moment to prove that the true words of God are at work everywhere beyond the border. Shinchonji Open Bible Seminar, held 14 times in Korea, caught the attention from the believers of Korea, now catching the attention of Europe.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shinchonji was invited to the Europe Open Bible Seminar. He departed for Europe on May 5th and had very busy schedule which started with a meeting with German ministers.

May 6th, as soon as he arrived in Frankfurt, he led a new-church service at the Shinchonji Frankfurt church and said to all the believers of the world, “There is no boundary in family of God,” and emphasized to be one within God.

The next day, the 7th, the Chairman lectured at the Europe Open Bible Conference held in Frankfurt Press Club (FPC) for the minsters from Europe and Africa. On this day, the Chairman lectured on the reasons that he was brought to Europe with Luke 18 and said, “There were several invitations from Germany for me to lecture.” He also said, “At the time of Jesus’ First Coming, the gospel from heaven started from Europe as it says on Mattew 24:14. This has been spread out to the ends of the earth, Korea.” He also said, “Now, the gospel has been fulfilled in Korea, and what begins now is the fulfillment of the East being travelling to the West.” This visit is the first step to start the work of the fulfillment of the East travelling to the West, and proclaiming to the whole world the fulfillment of the New Testament.

The attendees were amazed at the Chairman’s abiliity to not only answer the general questions about the Bible, but to testify clearly regarding the Revealed Word of the New Testament according to the 5 Ws and 1 H.

The attendees had enthusiastic reactions. After the lecture from the Chairman was finished, everyone gave a standing ovation and poured out their questions. Rhein-main TV (the local broadcasting station) announced that ‘New Bible School’ has been opened and the explanation of the Revelation from Shinchonji has opened the way to all of the believers to understand the Bible.”

Chairman Man Hee Lee’s European visit garnered much attention from the local press.

Leipzig TV (Leipzig Fernsehm) of Germany reported through an interview with Chariman Man Hee Lee that, “Man Hee Lee is not an ordinary Christian, he proclaims to have been given the duty of testifying about the fulfillment of the events of the words of Revelation.” And also, “His name, ‘Man Hee’ means ‘light’ and ‘reveal,’ matching him very well,” they reported. Through this broadcasting the Chairman replied, “I would like to say the following to all the Christian’s out there. God’s words in the book of Revelation have been opened and fulfilled. Come and listen, and see for yourself.” And, “If this is true, then this means that the kingdom of heaven is already here,” he said this important message to the whole world.

A weekly newspaper in North Berlin spotlighted the content of the interview with Chairman Lee on the 17th, the Asension Day. In order for this meeting to take place, the Chairman visited the German Embassy in Yong-San-Gu on May 4th, the day before his departure, and met with Hans Ulrich Seidt German ambassador to Korea and spoke with him regarding helping the relationship between Germany and Korea, giving him much expectations. What is important is the education of the Korean youth regarding the need for the Korean reunification.” He also said, “It is impossible to break apart the people of the same nationality for a long time. The German reunification was not something expected, either. It seems like history is made by God,” and continued to give a positive message by saying, “I believe the Korean peninsula will also be reunited soon.” Chairman Lee also sincerely expressed his opinion that “the Korean reunification is very important, for the purpose of world peace and religious independence.”
