[Shincheonji God's Word] 666—the mark of the beast

Main ref.: Rv 13:11-18; Dn 3:1-7; 1 Kgs 10:14; 1 Kgs 11:2-8; Mt 25:14-3; Dn 2; Dn 4; Dn 7; Mt 13:34-35
Question: There are two different beasts in Revelation. The beast coming out of the sea enters the tabernacle of heaven and defeats its congregation members. Because it is victorious, the beast seizes authority over the defeated congregation members. The other beast, which comes from the tabernacle (the figurative earth), arrives at the throne of the beast from the sea and works on its behalf. This beast from the earth entices the congregation members of the tabernacle to worship the first beast and its idols. He kills anyone who refuses to worship the idols. His name, in fact, is 666. Isn’t the number 666 familiar to you? Who is this beast called 666?
Answer: The actions of this beast from the earth are similar to the actions of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, the nation of demons (Rv 18:2). King Nebuchadnezzar set up an idol—an image of gold sixty cubits high and six cubits wide (Dn 3:1). Nebuchadnezzar then threw anyone who refused to fall down and worship the image he made into a blazing furnace (Dn 3:6). According to 1 Kgs 10:14, the weight of gold that Solomon received yearly as a tribute from gentile nations was 666 talents—the same as the number of the beast (666) in Revelation. Solomon used this gold to make shields to protect himself. According to 1 Kgs 10:16, six hundred measures of gold went into each shield. Solomon also made shrines for the worshiping of gentile gods in the temple of Jerusalem. These actions of Solomon are the same as the actions of the beast from the earth. The number of the beast symbolizes Solomon, who betrayed God, and the gentile King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The Bible says that this beast from the earth, which has two horns like a lamb, belongs to the first beast that had seven heads and came up from the sea. This beast from the earth is also referred to as an eighth king, who once was, now is not, but arises later (Rv 17). This beast works with ten horns to judges the prostitute.
A few people who witnessed all of these events in the tabernacle of heaven fought against these beasts, overcame them, and expelled them from the tabernacle (Rv 12). After overcoming the beast, these people gather at the sea of glass (Rv 15) with God and his angels. Since they are living witnesses who can testify about all of these events, their group is referred to as the “Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.” They also know the true identity and actions of the beast called 666. When the true identity of Babylon, which is the nation of demons, is revealed, is it surprising that the people of Babylon (including the seven heads and ten horns of the beast) persecute the congregation members of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony? The people of God are always persecuted by the people of the devil. The congregation members of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony truly belong to God because it is the place for those who have overcame the beast. All Christians should realize that these are the events that God wants to reveal to his people. We must all know and believe in the events revealed by God.
Since the witnesses in Shincheonji church of Jesus—Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony are testifying about what they have seen and heard, their testimony is true. The events of the book of Revelation are understood only by those who receive the revealed word (i. e. the revelation). Believers can attain heaven and eternal life only by knowing the one true God, Jesus, and the one who overcomes in Rv 2 and 3—the true pastor(Man Hee Lee peace advocate)  through whom the spirit of the Advocate is working.

[Shincheonji Truth] Our way or the Highway

I find it so incredibly sad that our own thoughts, expectations, and beliefs usually get in the way of the truth.
Take Jesus’ first coming for example.
For 4000 years God gave his people prophecy after prophecy concerning the coming Messiah. But when the time came, God’s chosen people rejected the one God himself had sent.
Jesus was not what the people were expecting. He was not the high ranking official or king that they were hoping for. He was not the authority figure they had imagined, or they ruler they wanted. And the captivity Jesus came to set the people free from was not the rule of the Roman Empire, but rather from being help captive by Satan’s lies and the rule of the Pharisees.
Jesus was not the Messiah the Jews were expecting, however, that doesn’t change the fact that he was the Messiah.
Even though every event, action, and figure was recorded in the prophecies; even though God had given these prophecies to his people so they would be able to recognize the way in which he works, God’s people still rejected the way, truth and life. They chose to hold onto their misguided thoughts, expectations, and beliefs, instead of seeking understanding and accepting the truth.
God has given us his word so that we can know him, his plans and purposes, and the way he works. After seeing what happened at the time of the first coming, why do so many Christians still insist that God works according to their thoughts, expectations, and beliefs?
When are we going to realize that our way of doing things is not the way God does things, and our way of thinking is not the way God’s thinks (Isaiah 55:8-9). When are we, as Christians, going to humble ourselves and realize that God is fulfilling his word today, even though it might not be the way we expected, thought, or hoped it would be. When are we going to stop saying to God, “Our way of the highway!”

Acts 5:34-39
“But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. Then he addressed them: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men . . . I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

[Shincheonji World News] Christians and Muslims Come Together to Share Ramadan Meal in Egypt

                                       (Photo: Reuters/Suhaib Salem)
A protester holds a cross and Koran during a protest demanding
that President Mohamed Mursi resign at Tahrir Square in Cairo July 1, 2013.
Christian and Muslim Egyptians gathered together in Tahrir Square last week to celebrate the first Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The location was used by opponents of former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi for demonstrations against him. He was thrown out of office back on July 3 by the army after a series of mass protests and public outcry. This place was also vital during the removal of President Hosni Mubarak in 2011.
The square was flooded by people of both faiths on a day where Muslim supporters of Morsi had been holding large demonstrations in public squares located in several other cities.
I wish [fellow countrymen] good health for a thousand years, and may they be well every year," said Christian Fareg Girgis Abdul-Masih in a Reuters report. "And we are brothers, and may God continue to give us peace, and may we be brothers, not like the Muslim Brotherhood, no, truly bothers- Muslims, Christians, all of us united."
An Imam preached a sermon in the Square on Friday that encouraged unity among the citizens of Egypt.
"This iftar (fast-breaking meal) is a national unity meal, in order for us to say that Egyptians, Muslims and Christians, make up one square and one nation. And this is an iftar to honor the blood of the martyrs and we are demanding justice for them on this Friday," said Mohammed Abdullah Nasser.

Mursi demonstrators struggled to make their point across others areas in Cairo demanding the reinstatement of a man who only served in the office for one year. Other citizens believe the protests that began on June 30 to kick him out of office were the beginning of Egypt's much needed rebirth after the President failed to rule the country in an effective and just manner.
"Today, after June 30, we have regained everything. And thank God, Egypt has returned ten times stronger than it was before," said Ashraf Hasan Ali.
Morsi has been criticized for his anti-democratic rule which further divided a country that already faced political turmoil and economic crisis.

Christians and Muslims shouted for their peace and freedom. It was difficult but it was wonderful.
People all over the world want peace. In order to do that, it need to religious unification.
I believe that we can make world peace only when all religious unification achieve in harmony.
Shincheonji wish for religious unification, world peace and the restoration of light.
The Bible contains God’s will. World peace and the restoration of light will come if the work is done in accordance to the Bible. This is the promised restoration that is recorded in the Bible, and thus religious unification and world peace will be achieved.
There are approximately 200 different races, and approximately 5,000 languages in the world. There are also many different religions. This is the reality of the global community. Although religious people all say they believe in the one true God, they all have different ways of believing, and it is mainly due to these religious differences that conflicts occur around the world. Conflicts also occur due to power struggles. Regardless of who you are, in order for this world to attain peace and the restoration of light, you must be born again through the seed and spirit of God. For this, all religions must become one through one truth.

[Shincheonji God's Word] Religion and Its Founder

Religion and Its Founder

Whose will is recorded in the Old and the New Testament? What is religion, and who is its founder? Why can’t we understand the meaning of the Scriptures with knowledge of the world? How is the end result of believers different from that of unbelievers?

Religion (宗敎) means “the highest teaching.”

Who created religion?
Religion was created by God (Holy Spirit), and the proof can be found in John 1:1-2.  The founder of religion, therefore, is God the Creator. That is why the Catholic Church is called Cheonjugyo (天主敎)*. Hence, to call a man who merely follows religion the founder of it is against the law and a lie. Whether it is a newly-rising or a traditional church, the leader of a church cannot be the founder. The name Church of Jesus reveals that its founder is Jesus, and the name Cheonjugyo shows that Cheonju (the Lord of heaven) is the founder. Usually, cults use the word “founder” to persecute others. However, anyone who uses such a word proves that he himself is a cult and speaks lies. For example, even though a tenant of a vineyard is entrusted with a vineyard, this does not make him the owner of it. If a church calls itself the so-and-so church of the Church of Jesus in Korea, that means the founder of this so-and-so church is Jesus. If a person labels the leader of a church as a founder despite the fact that the church calls itself the Church of Jesus, that person has to realize he is a false believer. A person should be referred to as a representative, the one in charge, a pastor, elder, or be called by his personal name. Churches and Christians must act in accordance with the will of God (Holy Spirit). This is the true life of faith that professes to believe in God.

Just because a person possesses a lot of knowledge of this world, it does not mean that he can correctly understand the meaning of the Scriptures. Furthermore, what God has prophesied, God fulfills. We are able to understand the meaning of the prophecies after God fulfills it and explains it to us. There is a vast amount of contents recorded in the Bible, including history, moral teachings, prophecy, and fulfillment. Among them, prophecy is something to be fulfilled in the future, and therefore, there is an appointed time when it is fulfilled.

God gave us the prophecies in advance so that people would believe when it is fulfilled   (Jn 14:29).

[Shincheonji Truth] The light from the east

I have seen a true light in the east and I would like to introduce him to my fellow Christians in confirmation of what I have seen.
The true light is the light mentioned in the Bible and I saw him in Korea. God fulfilled through Moses and Joshua what he prophesied to Abraham. God fulfilled through Jesus what he prophesied through the many prophets in the Old Testament. Once more, God is fulfilling what he prophesied through Jesus in the New Testament in Korea. I have seen it and I have confirmed that it is true.
This person has mastered the Bible, which proves that he has received the spirit of truth. He is the one who has received the book of revelation as recorded in Rev 10. He testifies the fulfillment of the New Testament prophecies just like Apostle John. I believe that it is worth your time to see for yourself if what I am saying is true if you seek the hope of the New Testament.
I pray that the Lord's spirit will fill those who read this article. May God's kingdom and the blessing of eternal life recorded in the New Testament be upon you.

[Shincheonji meaning of the gospels] "Who am I" Praise by Casting Crowns

Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord, You catch me when I'm falling....

But God demonstrates His own lobe toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners, christ died for us. [Romans 5:8]

"Who am I"

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name, Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done But because of who You're

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean A vapor in the wind

Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord,
You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me wh I am I am Yours,
I am Yours

Who Am I that the eyes that see my sin
would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain And calm the storm in me

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done But because of who You're

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean A vapor in the wind

Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord,
You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me wh I am I am Yours,
I am Yours

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done But because of who You're

Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean A vapor in the wind

Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord,
You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me wh I am I am Yours,
I am Yours

I am Yours Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear 'Cause I am Yours,
I am Yours

"Who Am I" in the Bible?

There are many believers in the world who walk a life of faith. Most think that they will be saved if they believe in God and Jesus without knowing the promise of God, or who they are in the Bible. Let’s find out what God has promised us today and who I am in the Bible.

1. The Physical Israel
God made a promise with Abraham in Genesis 15, and if we look in Genesis 17, it was an eternal promise which should have been believed in and kept by his descendents. The promise was that after suffering for 400 years in foreign land, the descendents of Abraham would bring abundant wealth out of Egypt and conquer and rule over the land of Canaan. As the time came, God brought out the people from Egypt through Moses as he promised (Ex 12), and God made a promise with the people again, that  “if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Ex 19:5-6).

These people were ones who multiplied greatly and lived as slaves to Pharoah, the king of Egypt (Satan) (Ex 1, 3, 5). It was to the slaves God said that if they kept the promise they would be for Him a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. What was the covenant? It was that they would be God’s kingdom and priests, made righteous through faith, the people of the covenant what would be promised to live ruling over Canaan after multiplying greatly and coming out from Egypt.

However, just before entering into the land of Canaan, they did not believe and broke the covenant with God. God made them wander around for 40 years and left them to die in the desert (Nm 14:32-35, Heb 3). Afterwards, Joshua and the descendants conquered the land of Canaan (Jo 1) and made a covenant for the people at Shechem (Jo 24), stating that they would believe and serve God eternally. Therefore, they were the nation of promise, and by keeping the promise they would be made God’s kingdom and priests.

People will think how those who were enslaved under the devil’s king (pharaoh) could become God’s kingdom and sacred nation. However, God regarded faith in His covenant as righteousness (Rom 4:1-3, 5:1, 10:10) and that he will make those who believe God’s kingdom and priests.

2. The New Spiritual Israel
Among today’s Christians, there is no one that knows who they are within the Bible. They live believing that just faith in God and Jesus will bring salvation and lead them to heaven. It is said in the New Testament that by believing in the covenant recorded they become the promised nation and the kingdom and priests (Rv 1:5-6, 5:9-10). What is this covenant?

At the time of the Second Coming, wheat from the field the seeds which Jesus and his disciples had sown 2000 years ago, will be harvested (Mt 13:30, 38-39) and taken to Mount Zion. On Mount Zion, one must be sealed with the word of revelation (the new song) (Rev 14:1-5), as the 12 tribes of the sealed 144,000 (Rv 7:3-4) become the kingdom and priests of God who were purchased with the blood of Jesus (Rv 1:5-6, 5:9-10). This is the promised nation and kingdom of the New Testament. This is not physical Israel, born of the seed of Abraham. It is the family of new Israel, the 12 tribes, born of God’s seed. God creates those with faith in the new testament into His nation and His kingdom and priests as he promised.

3. I, found in the Bible
If anyone asks who you are in the New Testament, you should be able to say confidently “I am God’s sealed kingdom and priests, the 12 tribes, harvested to Mount Zion.” Everything that has been fulfilled in Shincheonji (Rv 21) through the Bible today is what God has promised us in the New Testament and what God has told us to believe. By believing in this, we have obtained righteousness and have become God’s kingdom and priests. The promised words of New Testament that said “The sealed 12 tribes are God’s kingdom and priests” is what testifies us, who have  appeared in accordance to these words. We are the reality fulfilled according to the promised words of the New Testament.

We completely believe in everything that has happened to us today according to God and His promise.

[Shinchonji] How close are you to God?

The Word is fully God (Jn 1:1-3) and we believers are created in His image
and likeness. Should we not therefore be the manifestation of the Word that
has created us? That being said, we must not only have the Word in our hearts but
also act according to its truth.

The scriptures teach us the virtues that we should embrace and practice
in our lives, for instance, love, compassion, forgiveness, honesty, trust,
respect, patience and more. Unfortunately, some people who claim to be
true believers think and behave quite differently from how they ought to. It
is so easy for “Christians” to create conflict and abuse others emotionally
and even physically in the name of God – while others turn a blind eye because
of the title religious people carry.

What is the point of attending service and listening to God’s word if your
heart is filled with anger, hatred and undesirable thoughts? God’s word is
often referred to as gold or precious stones (Rv 3:18; Mt 25:14-28). That
you may listen to it with the wrong attitude is akin to you keeping precious
jewelry in a filthy box. Of course, our natural defenses kick in, even when reading
statements like the latter, and quickly we are all guilty of finding various
justifications for why we are not these kinds of people. But let’s be honest, all
of us have been in this position, and we all need to carefully examine our own
hearts before we present ourselves before God. After all, we can fool others,
we can even fool ourselves, But we cannot fool God.

If we are to be true children of God, we must read and understand the
scriptures, inscribe the Word in our hearts and put them into practice. Every
day, we believers must wash our robes and make them white in the blood,
the Word, of the Lamb who has saved us through His precious blood.
( Rv 7:14) Then we will be the true light that shines through the world and for
which God will be proud. Amen

Animosity towards the truth of Shinchonji

If you heard that the movie you had been waiting for had just been released at the cinema, you would probably make it a priority to go and book your tickets to watch it as soon as possible…

What about if you heard that your best friend was about to return, wouldn’t you ask him or her about flight details and travel agendas? And wouldn’t you take meticulous notes and memorize the facts related to the arrival?

Yet, why is it that when there is a clear testimony about the fulfillment of Revelation, Christians are the first to cry “cult” and the slowest to react? It is almost as if people do not want Revelation to be fulfilled, or like they do not want Jesus to return unless it’s on their own terms, at the time they view as realistic. This is not the correct attitude to have towards God’s word. Who are we to place our narrow-minded, human thoughts on God’s master plan?

The fact that there are so many options to believe in regarding the second coming clearly shows us how misguided we are. Jesus will only be returning once, and he will come in the order and manner God prophesied in the Bible. There is only one word, one God, one prophecy and one plan… Why do we, therefore, have so many options? Shinchonji’s teachings are clear and in perfect accordance with the Bible. Before one can judge one needs to have studied everything, verified the studies by testing the scriptures and combined knowledge with the faith that the Bible asks of us.  We study and test the words we hear against scripture so that we will not be misguided by the numerous options available to Christians today. It’s these multiple interpretations that leave Christians ignorant about Jesus’ return, and because of how Christians have turned God’s word into whatever is suitable and comforting to them that there is so much animosity toward the explanation of the prophecies, and the one who is testifying them. Wouldn’t it be much better to have a heart that is so eager for the return of Jesus, our Messiah? It would be more pleasing to Jesus for us to be those who are eager for the invitation to the wedding banquet of the Lamb, which happens at his return (Mt 22:1-5).

If you think you are prepared for the second coming, ask yourself these questions. Can you list seven prophecies about events that are supposed to happen prior to Jesus’ return? Can you list them in the order they will be fulfilled according to scriptures? Can you say with assured-ness as to which prophecies have already happened and are yet to happen? Wouldn’t it be nice to know? Wouldn’t it be important to know, so that we can obey Jesus’ command to be “always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Lk 21:36).

The lackadaisical attitude about Jesus’ return is something Jesus even warned us about (Luke 18:8). God wished for people to recognize Jesus at the first coming, and Jesus wishes for us to recognize his promised pastor today! It is urgent, and it is more important than everything else to understand the times in which we are living. Being fooled into a relaxed attitude towards the second coming is the work of the maddening wine of adulteries in Revelation 18:1-3. “Drunkenness, on this wine has dulled the senses of believers. It is only the work of Satan that does not want people to be saved. Instead he knows as long as he can keep everyone fooled they will struggle to accept truth and be blinded by all the comforting options he created as “alternatives” – which are really opposing  God’s truth.  Satan will kill, steal, and destroy the spirits of believers (Jn 10:10). This is the work of deception and every kind of evil that deceives others because they refused to love the truth and so be saved (2 Thes 2:9-10).

Did you know that a large percentage of Shinchonji members were introduced to Shinchonji by their own family members who wanted them to hear this word of life? Another large percentage was introduced by close friends.  What does that prove? We want the people we love to hear the truth, as the word of God is explained. Clear as crystal.

If you have been asked by a friend or family member to do the studies with Shinchonji, why not try at least a few studies, before turning your back on it? Have faith that God’s truth and light will guide you… pray for him to lead you. It is not everyday that someone claims to have received the complete explanation of Revelation. If you don’t have the complete understanding of Revelation, which is about the coming of our Lord Jesus, and if you are hearing about someone who does, then wouldn’t it be the rational thing to do to make effort to at least listen and check it out? Perhaps you even want o make a list of logical question that the Bible tells us someone who has received the explanation should be able to answer. Ask anyone you see as fit to answer and then ask someone in Shinchonji. Compare the answers and the sources of those answers. Mr. Man Hee Lee has asked repeatedly for people to listen and judge his words as true or false. Whether people listen or fail to listen is up to the condition of their spirit, and for each person to decide on their own. But he has asked on numerous occasions for those who disagree to have an open and public discussion with him about why they oppose his testimony… never once has anyone taken up his offer.

We are not encouraged to believe blindly, but we are commanded by 1 John 4:1 to test if the words a person speaks is explaining according to the word or not. The burden of proof is upon Shinchonji, and if you would like to take this challenge, then try contacting Shinchonji via this website, and set up a time to have a conversation with someone from Shinchonji.  Just like one Shinchonji member said to his family, “It is worth the effort to understand the word and receive life.”
